Hey everyone. Was thinking of maybe trying to trade off my MP-04 for the MP-10. Is this a good trade on my end? I checked ebay, and completed listings showed a MP-04 open, no box went for $225 plush shipping, then the next one was $410 ... So I was thinking maybe of asking about $350 total for mine seeing how it is open, and displayed with all contents still in the box. What does everyone think??
This is pure, 100% conjecture, but I feel like MP-04 is worth more than MP-10. ... keep in mind I've done no research. And would rather have MP-10, anyway. And what little I do know about MP-04's prices come from before MP-10 was even announced. I'm really not sure why I'm even posting, sorry.
^ Agreed. If you want a good deal for yourself, but you don't want to rip off the other guy, that's the way to do it. However, keep in mind, MP-10 has every chance to be released in the US in a year or so. You MIGHT want to wait a while.
If it does get released here, no way it'll have the trailer. Rodimus' trailer was way more integral to the design of the vehicle mode. ... which doesn't bother me at all, but for some reason the lack of Roller makes me sad.
The trailer is all kinds of boring. I'm far happier with Supreme Prime's Trailer, which actually does something fun, and fits my RotF Prime.
That's fine and dandy for you (and me, for that matter), but if he went out of his way to get MP-04 I'd imagine it means something to him.
I would wait for the Hasbro one. I personally think your figure is worth more then his. To bad you cannot play with it and decide if you like it. Maybe more expensive if you want MP04 back in the future.
This is true, I like the full effect of the trailered vehicle mode. I'm counting on Hasbro to release this as well.. That way I can have one in bot and one in Alt mode. I honestly can't see him going for TO much more than what the ebay prices are right now, and I already have the MP01 figure which is great for his bot mode, and to have with MP05 and MP09 in HR mode/car mode. And I love the trailers repair bay mode, . All this said, my question still remains, do I do an even trade, or do I do trade+$$??
Actually, I wouldn't mind knowing this as well... While I don't want to rip anyone off, I certainly don't want to GET RIPPED OFF.
TBH...seems to good to be true...an MP10 for MP4? A trade? You sure this Hybrid Prime up to his old tactics?
75% of the MP04 figures go for over $250. So this is an even trade, if not you that should recieve a deluxe or something for yours. mp04 | eBay
I am willing to bet that one of the many 3rd party toymakers out there will be more than happy to accomodate trailerless MP-10 (and for that matter, MP-9) owners that are willing to wait. Just a thought.
