Has anybody reported their Trypticon has decent hips out of the box? I got mine fully expecting to do surgery, but his hips ratchet loosly enough without having to force them. I saw at SDCC Hasbro said the hip issue was "isolated." The product run # imprinted on the box is 71241. Is anyone's different? Anybody not have hip issues out of the box? Here is video of my copy's hips (sorry about the choppy edit):

So you have run # 71241? I have that on the one I just got in, so I wanted to make sure you meant that is the one you have without any issues. Thanks!

Mine seems to be fine so far, though I only messed with him a little bit. The joints seemed tight at first, but they don't feel like anything broke or warped from the legs being moved. Hoping I lucked out.

Folks have scared me so much about the hips that I sprang for the Japanese version. Fingers crossed.

Sorry to debunk everyone's "box number" theory....but mine is 71241 too, and they were tight as hell at first.

I've since snipped off one ring on each spring; they now function like how your video shows.
