Really, because personally I find Misfire's shade of pink to be a sore sight for eyes (that was intentional) in the renders whereas it doesn't look that bad in the photos.

While I'm upset these guys aren't Targetmasters, I'm really glad we are getting figures of them.

Maybe the Autobot Targetmasters will actually be Targetmasters (assuming we get them at all).

Common Beachcomber and Flywheels for the next wave!

So any idea when BBTS will be listing this wave.... or the last wave for that matter?

Misfires head looks soooo much better. Turns out that it wasn't the finished version on display

i hope that's true, but honestly wouldn't count on it: unless it was a hand-painted prototype, the on-display version is more likely a production sample that may be more indicative of the final product then the CGI render that was likely done earlier in the pipeline.

So weird they actually made him a Triggerhappy remold instead of Twintwist Topspin remold. That mold looks much more like Misfire. Seems like a bad joke. I'm really disappointed. But yeah, saved money again.

According to TFWiki these two are part of Wave 6, not wave 5. Any official word from other sources about that?

Better. Though I suspect the pink head is going to be what's released.

The guy who was there that took the photographs has said from they are two different waves.

Also Hoffman who told us the contents of wave 5 before Toyfair has said only Misfire along with Windblade and Twin Twist for Wave 5.

Well at least this way we won't be getting two Triggerhappy retools in one wave.

We shall see, shan't we? I'd think the toys shown would overrule 'renders'.

Why? Topspin has two functional cockpits and he's deluxe. The double cockpits was the selling point for me, it would have been awesome to have Jet for two evil Titanmasters:( .

i don't actually disagree, but the leg design with the fins is actually much more Misfire then Trigger-happy looking at the originals.

looking at Megatron/Blitzwing, you'd have to go at least Voyager to get dual cockpits in the double nosecone, and if you really wanted them too look like proper cockpits (the Megatron/Blitzwing mold "cheats" because the scale is off) he'd have to be a Leader

Both figures look really good, and I'll be getting those for sure, despite not being actual Targetmasters. And even if they are both retools of Triggerhappy, I think they still look different enough. It looks like UW Blast Off/UW Strafe-level retooling, and not just a lazy repaint from a character that physically had nothing to do with the second character to use that mold *cough* TR Breakaway *cough*.

What, now we have to wait for official confirmation before telling people they're wrong? Good heavens.

I just saw Hot Rod & Twinferno at a local Walmart for the first time today (though I'd ordered them off the net in January), and despite knowing of TR Getaway's existence, I barely care to worry about ever getting it. With Quake, the colors remind me enough of Machine Wars Soundwave, who I could rename "Stalker", to pick up as an extra 'Con underling. I don't begrudge their existence as basic repaints for Hasbro to get easy funds to make other items, but that doesn't mean I accept them as the definitive updates of those characters (and they already did one dual targetmaster in the main retail line, the others have earth modes and should be doable at some later point).
