So I like everyone else wanted ramps and a real tower. I designed adapters to accomadate g1 fort max parts that could be used on the titans returns fort max. The goal was to do it in such a way that all parts could be returned back to normal, without damage, if I wanted to in the future. This is what I came up with. All of the parts adapters are 3d printed and the add-ons are g1. I plan on painting it up starting tonight. I wanted to get all of the mods right before I began painting. Let me know what you think. Been wanting to do the same, as I have a reissue max with no purpose post-Titans Return. Are you going to shapeways those adaptors?

You selling these parts? Is there any way to get a G1 or reissue Fort Max to do this? At a decent price?

I'm going to Shapeways them. I have some tweeks to do before they're ready.

Most of the parts pop on and off. The tower simply screws off. Everything can come back off and return to orig.nal state.

So how are the arm ramps being held in place? ...and for that matter, the hip guns too?

 

Did the same thing with the tower from my Brave Max, since the blue color looks a little more coherent. I never thought about the ramps though.

I'd love to see your city mode with that fan configuration of using the legs as the side towers.

Looking forward to it, between these adaptations,the Takara paint job, and the 3rd party upgrade kit we could get an amazingly good Maximus. Adding in the tower alone like that fixes one of my major peeves about the figure.
With the legs as side towers it's very close to what I really want my Maximus to look like.

Damn, it's unfortunate that the central tower is still not taller since it's such an iconic aspect of its design, but what can you do.

It seems like you angled the towers higher than they should be. Do they look better if you don't do that?
