Titans Return Legends Class Brawn Found at US Retail

Weren't you told the last time you made this same exact thread that linking to Seibertron isn't newsworthy.

 

The difference is though that last time there was no photographic evidence, just some ticking off a sightings database entry.

 

I guess the staff would still prefer TFW members to provide their own photographic evidence, though. (This also includes Brawn's wave-mate Roadburn.)

 

Ordinarily, yes. But I'm seeing multiple reports in our sightings section, mostly in Michigan, but also in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Balance of evidence says they are out, in Meijers.

I saw Brawn and Roadburn at Meijer on Tuesday here in Michigan. I just didn't think to mention it. I had picked up a Brawn already from china for $11 with shipping, so I just grabbed Roadburn.

 

It wasn't the source that caused the thread lock before, but the OP's lack of factual evidence. In his eagerness to gain a news credit, he didn't see that the guy who posted the sighting last time, spammed other sightings that were all false(really, Broadside and Brawn at Dollar General?).

This time it's differrent and I agree with everything Sol Fury posted above

 

Man it seems Transformers keep getting more expensive.

I'd happily pay $15 for Brawn anyway lol. So gorgeous.

 

Trouble is we have no Meijer's stores in Alabama. If Brawn was sighted at Walmart or Target then that's a different story. It does not help me if the closest Meijer is 300 miles away. Again, I get really annoyed when someone posts a sighting at a store that is exclusive to that area. How exactly does that help me?

 

I wish people would only post sightings for stores in my country, or better yet, in my region. How does a sighting in California help me?

Is there a reason why they couldn\'t use the name Chase for Roadburn. I mean they still have his name after all they use his name for Rescue Bots so why couldn\'t they use his name for this line?

 

For those wondering about the pricing... it's an error, not a permanent price change. Should be fixed tomorrow and be at 9.99. If it ISN'T, however, I highly recommend 1) Grabbing another legend and showing the cashier/manager that the issue is occurring and the proper price is, in fact, 9.99, 2) pulling up the official Hasbro listing on their site that shows it is supposed to be 9.99.

They should correct it then to the correct price. When in doubt, keep asking for managers.

Again, should be fixed by Friday. I know Roadburn has already been fixed but Brawn is still causing problems.

 

Rescue Bots is presumably exactly why they renamed him. The prevalent theory is that Hasbro wants to avoid parents buying the intended-for-older-collectors Titans Return figure for little Timmy who asked for a toy of the character from his favorite cartoon Rescue Bots.

It's assumed that the same line of thought caused the Titan Master version of Grimlock to be named "Clobber" to avoid parents buying the "wrong" toy for a kid who wants the green T-rex from Robots in Disguise.

 

Oh I see that does make since. But then how is it with Blades. I mean he is both name from Rescue Bots and for the Combiner Wars. So where does he fall into this?

 

Going to go hunting on Sunday, will stop at Meijers and see if they have either of them... But I don't care if I don't find them cause I have them preordered on BBTS!

 

I assume Hasbro thinks "Protectobot Blades" and "Blades, the Copter-Bot" are different enough as to not confuse parents.
