Thinking about getting this set to display with MP10v. Would they scale well together? Any one have pics that have both?
$400 for 5 chug sized dinobots still seems a bit high but I'm at least considering it.

I don't have MP10v but I think they'd scale well. Grimlock is about leader sized.

the legs are horrible when it comes to connection, it's like they came up with the feet and thigh connectors as an afterthought and it shows and they don't stay connected, i mean it's easy to reconnect them but you have to way to often

I have both MPV and these dinobots and they look great together . Perfect for CHUG scale IMVHO . I don't care about the combined mode and have never tried it

Do the other Dinobots in this set go well with MP-08? I'm not a huge fan of their Grimlock and I am considering getting the set for the other Dinobots and putting them with MP-08 and MP-10V.

If anyone can post a pic of them together that would be awesome.

That's what I do . Never bought the toyworld grimlock as I thought the mom was better. It's a bit big to be honest but it's the most acceptable when coming in this size/ scale IMVHO

I'm hoping the Hasbro dinos drive prices down even lower for these guys... hoping to grab a set for under 200$.

Yeah, I"m not a dino combiner guy so they'd remain separate for sure.

Connectors have been an issue for some but mine are rock solid. Mine has been combined pretty much since I got them.
This is the pose I have mine displayed in. The pic was taken before I got Spear but he's pretty much still in the same pose complete. Note that neither combiner is using each other as support. I can move either of them away and they would still be standing perfectly fine (on glass!) in those poses.

Here are some pics of the complete set (original versions)

My feedback on the set is that the weapons suck hard! They are so small and pathetic looking. I had to give them different weapons (from the Junkion Blacksmith sets).

Also the original configuration of Spear (Swoop) looks craphouse so I always use this 'fanmode' as my Swoop. It's basically Swoop in arm mode with the elbow joint collapsed.

lastly, if you get the set and it doesn't come with the combined mode swords (they were extra even with the original set) try and get a hold of them. They really complete the combiner and look badass

Do you mean in individual modes or combined mode? Here is a pic of them combined with TW's Orion.

MP10v is slightly shorter than Orion. I think they scale perfectly as MP10V is the CHUG Prime we always wanted and these Dinobots are CHUG Dinobots IMO

As for individual modes TW grimlock is roughly the same size (bot and dino) as MP-08. here are pics of MP10V with MP-08

Sorry I don't have any pics of MP10V with the set but I am guessing these will be close enough for you.

As mentioned above, TW Grimlock is roughly the same size as MP-08 so yes these would probably go well with MP-08 IMO.

I don't think these would ever be around the $200 mark unless they don't sell at all and get put on clearance a year or two down the track. Even then I would think they would only drop to around $300. TFC Hercules which is obsolete in so many ways is still selling for $199.99 at 66% off and he barely stands up to this guy's chest.

Might want to wait around anyway. Sounds like Zeta got the rights to Toyworlds old stuff and will be re-releasing them under Zeta-ex. Food for thought.

    TFSource?

This is a new announcement from Zeta. The previous TW Dino combiner is now under Zeta-EX.

I just figured the metallic set that Toyworld was going to release has just been appropriated by Zeta since it's their design.

This is a pretty cool set the metallic looks great, I wish Zeta would have revised the thighs though visually too thin that was my only gripe but maybe they improved them with better stronger tabs.

I do like the improved looking weapons.

If the price is low its going to be tempting to pick this up.
