And what does it have to do with anything even if it was the case? A good toy is a good toy. At least better than the Evac you recently reviewed.

Seeing the review makes me glad I didn't buy this. Parts falling off left and right? No thanks. Also, he's way too big for classics.

The engineering is impressive but the end result is just not to my liking.

Can't wait to have this in-hand. Can't lie, bothered by the parts falling off as well, but the aesthetic, and seemingly solid engineering make it a must-have for me.

Parts falling off might have more to do with the reviewer than the figure. Look at Peaugh's videos, parts are usually flying in all directions for some odd reason (badluck(, yet the toys he's reviewing are usually good.

The only part that came off when I transformed him (apart from the muzzle, but that was deliberate) was a hip skirt. I doubt it would come off now that I know what I'm doing. I haven't watched the video to see what happened, but in my case, I wouldn't say parts are excessively coming off during handling or transformation

It has to do with the fact it's my opinion. Which i'm entitled to. Much like you're entitled to believe apparently, that Evac isn't a good toy.

I plan to keep him in robot mode so the transformation to gun mode isn't too important. I guess I see him more like an action figure.

Pretty neat transformation. The hollowness from the back is odd, but doesn't bother me too much as I wouldn't pose him backwards anyway. I like this fig, but gonna hold off to see if/when Takara announces a new Megatron.

Now I really can't wait for CP to get these in & start shipping them!
I'd like to see how it sizes up to classics voyager Prime, although I do have a brief idea. I like that he's a head or so taller than the standard voyagers. Megatron, to me, should be towering over anything that isn't Fort Max or a cityformer. I really can't wait to see Toyworld's upcoming Optimus. I also hope that means they start tackling more IDW-esque designs.

Cannot wait to have my own one, when can we start pre-order this figure?
Finally I have a real G1 looking Megatron for my classics series, also looking forward to their 2nd TW-02 to lead my classics autobots. His hight is also matching my MT giant and TFC hercules! Amazing review! love it

It's already been released. You can still get it here: Hegemon

    Or here: http://chimungmung.com/product_info.php?products_id=731&osCsid=8095b5919b073b3f324d5c64d1dc81e0

Robotkingdom has already sold out. You might want to hurry he seems popular.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but you can remove the fusion cannon from the side of his arm and it can peg securely onto the top of his fore-arm so you can have his arm straight or twisted to bring up the cannon - a pretty awesome little feature if you ask me :)

    Great review as always, baltmatrix.

This is a fantastic figure, the only thing that seems off to me are the lower legs, but seeing how it transforms, I understand now why they did it like that.

Another great thing is that TJ Duckett may get one, so we'll get some awesome Hegemon shots.

I'm quoting my earlier post in this thread because I now own a Hegemon and want to update my stance on it.

I now fully know what you meant by it feeling cheap. The bar that makes the right arm swing? Solid, for sure, but one good twist and it's snapping. The left arm? I had to CARVE plastic out of the hole where it snaps onto that post.(which was gutwrenching the first times I did it...) The post was actually pushing the plastic surrounding the hole...into the hole. It was soft enough plastic that it was able to misshape the hole... Fortunately, I had a box cutter on hand and was able to trim, ever so carefully, enough of the soft plastic out of the way and the transformation went back to normal, but due to me cutting that out...the peg snap isn't panic inducing. Sounds like a regular transform snap, now.

The transformation? Still ridiculous. ...ridiculously AWESOME. Seriously, this is an amazing transformation for a figure this size. Takes practice, but it can be learned.

I did in fact sell off my Masterpiece Megatron and Justitoys kit to get this guy. WELL worth it. Hegemon is an upgrade, compared to MP-05. Seriously. This figure ROCKS, people. Buy it if you can. Don't let it slip through your fingers, cuz it's one bad ass piece.

And as you said Balt...the gun mode is incredible. I love it.

I'm sad I waited so long to have his plasticky goodness. *kisses his Hegemon* Hegemon, you sexy beast, you.
