I was wondering when his announcement would be.

Not bad, although I'm not liking the translucent bits.

He's got the tubbiness to appease the toon purists. The colors, I'm assuming are are not final. But the translucent bits remind me of what tw did to one of their constructors.

I'll never understand Toyworld's fascination with translucent plastic.

YES!!! Finally, a chubby Seaspray!!! So happy right now. The transparent bits don't bother as me as much as I expected them to, but I do hope that gold-bronzey color becomes a more traditional yellow!

Are there any pics of MP Bumblebee next to Toyworld Cosmos? I know Toyworld has a habit of making their MP figures a bit too big.

Hmmm... Not sure how I feel about this one. I'm in for their Cosmos and as long as those colors aren't final, maybe this one too but I think I need to see more. Something feels off but maybe it'll grow on me.

this is pretty darn good. I'll go back to a post a while back polling the group asking what we thought TW should make next. Some poster was trying to argue that we should pick something other than G1 MP because "we" wouldn't buy G1 MP from TW. My argument was that if they did G1 MP well, that "we" would buy G1 MP from TW.

    My point was validated today.

Whoever thought there'd be a Seaspray war?

Nice comparison. Personally I'm not wedded to any of these, XTB is probably leading for me so far, I'll wait and see once more are out I guess.

    I kinda like it....

hope the goldesh yellow stays, but some colors tweeks other than that would be nice. Though I am already in for FT Version...

I feel like toyworld could stand to improve on how they use hinges. Those little gaps on the torso hinges are unsightly to me on a figure that is loosely meant as MP (i realize the gaps serve a purpose for a functional hinge, i just wish they used a different mechanism). Their constructicons had these too. They are distracting and cheapen the look imo.

Thanks for the comparison pics Cheem; i had forgotten about the xtb one and think it looks best. Hopefully they haven't found a way to overengineer the transformation like other times.

I like that toyworld are giving people the bloated version of the character. Hopefully everyone will get a version of this guy that they like.

This looks fantastic, easily the best Seaspray yet. Who knew TW had a knack for minibots!? Now, how about a Windcharger that doesn't suck?

I think TW should concentrate on doing all the minibots, cause the 2 they have are solid offers here, and I can get on board with these.

Toyworld's does have a cuteness factor that the others lack...but I'll have to see final colors, accessories, price before I could be nudged to buy. Especially with Seaspray being my least fave minibot.

Strange how every company jumps and runs to do their own take on a meh looking hovercraft but no one wants to do the cool-ass tank minbot. Where are the MP Warpath wars dang it!

I still want them to remold their Bee mold into a Cliffjumper and Bumper so we can have all three characters with chibi car modes that get repaints galore ala Impossible Toys Minibots.

That's a great idea. They could really shine in that lane. Let the other companies do the real world stuff and they can embrace the chib.
