Another new design today, modeled a more appropriate sized head for Toyworld Leia, who I'm happy using as my MP Arcee, but who's head was just way undersized. Still trying to refine my printer settings enough to get all the details right on the test fits, but for now I've been able to verify that the scale I modeled the head in looks great on the Toyworld body. No more tiny head syndrome! And no, she CAN'T transform with this head on, of course. It has to be popped off it's ball joint before transformation, but since her alt mode is pretty wack (working on that issue too... =), I'm happy just having a head that looks right in bot mode for the time being. Hoping to get a good print and paint it up this weekend, pics will be posted!

    Head now available on Shapeways:

The details look a little soft but it definitely is an improvement size wise. Does it still transform ok?

Nice head! I was never to fond of the headgaps but partsforming is a big turnoff for myself. Those altmode mods you mentioned, will they be added here or on a different thread?

I think it's important to note that any mods to this figure very likely have to be parts forming pieces. If folks wanted a more proportionate head, for example, there's no way to make it fit into the transformation scheme, same as any custom pieces that will fit over the rear end of the alt mode to improve the aesthetic. Maybe Toyworld themselves could make it work, but I can't do it with a free cad program and a budget printer. Lol

Oh well see a head is too essential to me to be partsformed. It’s like I wouldn’t want to buy it. But when you’re fixing an altmode with a kit you can do fun stuff with it. Which makes me even more longing for something like that. Like you know about the wei jiang alcee? Of you don’t it’s a ko generations arcee but the vehicle backpack can be removed to make it cleaner and be used as some kind of shield. It’s a pretty great way to get around it and toyworld should’ve capitalised on it.

Definitely familiar with WJ Arcee. Mine shipped with 2 right arms, and eventually broke. Luckily it's a cheaper figure, so I didn't mind it much.

None yet, but hopefully soon. I finally found a white that will possibly match the eggshell color Toyworld used, so planning on getting a finished pic over the weekend.
