I have both, and for what it's worth in this instance I'd say I prefer Klaatu - and that's the first time I've ever preferred an XTB figure when another option is available.

Saying that, my Klaatu's leg broke off mid-transformation, so until I get a replacement part I'm all in for Camp Spaceracer!

I'm such a big fan of Cosmos that I wouldn't choose one of these over the other unless I had to. I really like both of them. I think Klaatu is more enjoyably to transform and pose, but in terms of just looking at them, it's Spaceracer that pleases my eye more.

My personal issues with each, all of them nitpicks, each of them oddly parallel each other:
    Spaceracer
I would prefer yellow over gold plastic
Spinning face gimmick seems like a wasted effort when the result is just two sets of very slightly different eyes. At least mine works.
Transformation of the arms could be better, they swivel up in tandem with the head riser and can get stuck if not done just right
Bottom rear foot flaps just fold up and don't peg into anything, relying on hinge friction to keep them in place

    Klaatu
I would prefer a brighter green. Unless the room is brightly lit he almost looks black.
Popping up head gimmick would be fun without a tool. As it is...wasted effort.
Transformation of the arms could be better, they slide up for bot mode and don't really 'click' into place.
Bottom side foot flaps are supposed to peg into slots but there is no friction on mine and they don't securely tab into place

I just got Spaceracer. I think I got two of the same exhaust/blaster parts. Did anyone else have the same problem? Want to trade?

It's a really easy custom to make. The pins slide out with just a push. I just painted the green parts blue!

That is a beautiful, smooth, pro-lookin paintjob. Nice work.

Thank you for showing that! I was thinking about painting the golds yellow. I like it how it is, but I wonder if it might blend in with the others better w/ yellow. Good to see!

Two things. First, ensure that the ball and hinge joint that forms the shoulder is straight up and down:

Secondly, make sure that straightened black piece lines up with the angle in the green plastic below as you finish the transformation:

It still takes a little finesse, but those two steps will get you close.
