The new visor is Incredible   like it's emitting light   i got 4 of them and they are a bit different and the gap between the visor and the helmet is random and in one version it seems a bit to big.
Weapons are 3D printed me me.

Well, I decided to make it at least 9 alt modes.

MP Prowl, OM Trailbreaker, and MP Diaclone Bluestreak
MP Sideswipe, OM Mirage V1, and BC Sunstreaker
ZT Jazz, MP Smokescreen, and MP Wheeljack

I just want a good selection of the early G1 earth based nice looking car alt modes. It was a tough call between Tracks and Smokescreen, but that ZX alt mode is prolly my all time favorites. Maybe I can squeeze Tracks in somewhere...

Does anyone have the Zeta version in hand yet?

 

I do and can confirm all diecast on the car body, which is awesome but it is garbage from a QC standpoint. Hip was broken from the get go and a rear view mirror snapped off at the lightest touch. The transformation is ridiculously complex. Lots of fiddling with that weak hip. I wish I had a TW version to compare the quality. I want to love this thing so bad because the alt mode is amazing and that's my preferred display mode for the guy but damn do they make it difficult to enjoy.

I got it from ShowZ and due to CNY he can't verify the resolution for the out-of-the-box damage yet. We'll see what happens, if I get another or a replacement hip I'll post again with the update.

 

Man, that sucks.

 

Only issues there are the leg flap that doesn't quite snap in and the loose chest. But those aren't very serious.

Sucks to hear about Coolsville, good thing I ended up having to cancel my order.

 

My Zeta Jazz arrived from TCP.

Mine had a scratch on the center of the hood where the blue paint is.
I really don't like the diecast. It seems to have made the transformation more frustrating when you can't bend sections for clearance.
Alot of the joints are stiff. When going from alt mode to robot, I had to use some tools just to move/split some things.

I read this and immediately checked mine..... one is missing. I recorded a video when I opened all my figures earlier. Looked like mine had fallen off without me noticing, but I was able to find. Glad it was a white piece cuz my rug is dark. I might glue it back or just leave it as is.

 

Can someone with the new zeta jazz post up some in hand pics?

I opened up a copy and it looks suspiciouly like the old coolsville. Has anyone done a review comparison yet?

 

I feel the same. I've seen some reviews and they look the same. Besides the accessories, when it comes to differences, there is the blue missing paint on the front hip skirts that was advertised in the Zeta shots.

Anyone's Zeta Jazz card have a 4 digit number on it? From one of the reviews I saw, their card had the white rectangle and number. Mine didn't have that.

Opened mine up and transformed him into alt mode.
- Nothing broken.
- I was only interested in alt mode, so I totally skipped bot mode.
- biggest complaint for me is this large smudge on the front windshield. It doesn't show in the pictures and I am not sure what it is from but I can't get it off.
- You can see in the pic that the die cast alt mode doesn't quite tab in perfectly.
- The spoiler is a bit wonky and I can't really do anything about that.
- The piece right in front of the windshield won't go all the way flush. It is either that or have the part where the roof connects to the back windows pop.
- This might be connected to the still apparent problem from the ToyWorld version where the hands and arms don't tab in 100% and don't let the body align properly in alt mode.
- The paint is nice, but I already see some tiny flakes coming off. Some parts of the paint appear to be misaligned. Like the orange spot on the spoiler not aligning (and having a white strip down the middle of it) and the blue stripe on the door that looks like it should make it all the way to the end of the door but stops short and swoops up.

I guess I should be happy with what I got compared to what happened to others. I am just going to put this guy in the alt display I have and call it a day.

I am still in the market for my perfect Jazz and I have J4ZZ, Downbeat, and now Jazzy. I'd have to say the best of the three is probably J4zz as it is beautiful in both modes, though my Reprolabeled Downbeat shines in bot mode. I can't say I would really recommend this Zeta Toys Jazzy to anyone.

 

I have the Toyworld version and have never transformed it. Having read this thread people have said transformation has to be very exact in order for all things to tab in properly. Not saying you haven't though, but placement of all joints have to be perfect for a seamless alt mode. If you can be bothered, maybe try re transforming it again?

 

I figured it was the hands, I'll try again sometime.
