yeah finally mangaged to fit it bitt hard but alt mode win
Does coolsville come with a rope for his wrist hook thing? I've got the base and the little silver boomerang thing but there wasn't any string in the box...
Am I just missing it or was it just never included?
I think you are suppose to attach your own. nit very nice of them.
I don't normally don't like toyworld stuff. I just never like the way they look. But this guy here, I can't find a problem with the way he looks, and I'm looking hard?
Does he come with a collector card? Does the ppearl make him stand out from the other mp cars? How's the plastic feel? Any diecast? and are those stickers?
No card. Comes with an ARK display floor thats useless, unless you have the other parts.
Pearls not bad unless you are in bright light examining him.
Plastic is good. All joints tight. Mines wrist swivels are so tight, I'm scared I'll break them off. Right shoulder joint squeaks from being tight.
Tons of die cast. A majority of his alt mode pieces are diecast. I'd say 40% of him is.
I still haven't transformed him. Well worth my money.
He's a touch to tall.... I'd like some chrome on my jazz. I definitely prefer the toy look over the bland animation look. I'm just gonna sit with this desicion a bit and let it stew.
Anyone got pictures of him in a group shot with the crunched ab transformation.
Or alt mode car bot shots?
Can somebody digibash it as Stepper?
I'm surprised any third party company hasn't release a repaint of him yet!
He is my fav of the 3p Jazzs but my question is in hand does he match the pictures? I don't want to buy him and have another Primorion experience of thinking it's certain colors and receiving something else.
If youre expecting blue on the crotch then no
If that's the only difference I can paint it myself.
I picked up Coolsville a week ago from The Chosen Prime mostly for the vehicle mode. As a huge automotive enthusiast the old Widebody Porsche was too good for me to pass up on and I needed a placeholder figure until a better one comes along.
That being said the light piping was one of my biggest concerns with him. I'm not a fan of the dead eyes when the figures are displayed on the shelf. I ended up pulling his face apart and painting it with a blue that matches MP-10 (Hasbros) eyes. It took a few tries to figure out how to do it without any brush strokes but I'm happy with the end result.
That light piping design is weird. If they are going to have that piece behind the head, then they can't have light piping for obvious reasons. Or get rid of that piece. Otherwise the eyes are dead. The paint looks good though.
Its just that they used too dark a plastic. I don't know why they did? Should've been obvious to them it wasn't going to work out. Could've just saved money on black and blue paint.
Toyworld decided to ride a skateboard down a mountain.
I've sort of come to accept that Downbeat is my Jazz, even though I'm not 100% satisfied with the car mode and liked Coolsville more in that sense.
I kind of hope they repaint this guy or something because I'm still interested in him. But probably not as my Jazz representative.
best jazz for me
In care mode he rules supreme. After the reprolabels, a little paint and a few mods I've fallen completely in love with Maketoys. I expected to like TW better over all but it didn't work out that way.
All Runners-Up Squad. I still love 'em.
Well, I scratched the face on mine (The one I got Extra from Kapow toys, They ROCK!! )
So I did some experimenting on one of the screaming heads I got extra:
G1 toy accurate screaming face
I'm think I'm going to try and mix the silver a bit to get a better result and I'm going to either buy a light blue of mix one up for the visor, so what do you guys think?
What a world we live in when Coolsville is a "runner-up." Ten years ago (or even two), it'd be considered the greatest.
I prefer him over Downbeat. I'm also a Re:Master fan.
