Any news on the add on kit for the mark 1 owners?

Just received my green thighs and G1 head and love it..My only nitpick is that tge new thighs are made of a more glossy and vibrant green than the rest so it doesnt match 100%

You should, combined he is by far the most stable and posable combiner I have ever owned.
I can't find the picture atm, but someone on this board posed him holding a detolf shelf with Autobots on it! That is something I have never thought possible with a combiner until Constructor showed up!

I have zero regrets getting this set!

 

something you can try is softscrub on a napkin or rag or qtip... i've used it in my work to knock down gloss. try it out on something that is glossy that you can play with and see if that would give you results that would take off the gloss. you don't have to go crazy and its pretty easy to work w/ once you get the feel of it.

 

Out of curiosity, what material are you using? That looks like a pretty flexible thin piece of plastic and as someone who doesn't usually dabble in DIY custom projects, I don't know what to look for. Also, is this material strong enough that it doesn't break inside with the stress of the figure in robot mode and when its combined as a leg/foot? I'm probably over thinking the later but best to ask anyway.

Well looks like I finally bought into this set. Just ordered this guy from Robot Kingdom for $477 shipped with EMS. I think that's a pretty good deal considering the size and weight...

 

I think I found it. At first I thought you mean he was holding the entire Detolf shelving unit. This makes more sense.

Aw thanks guys! This is by far the most creative I've ever been with transformers. I wish I could think of more cool things to photograph. Unfortunately I've sold Constructor to a friend in Abu Dhabi. I heard rumblings of an official Devastator and I let this go on a hunch. But it truly is a very nice toy. ESPECIALLY now that it's more in the 'less than 500 range' vs 'over 600' range.

Been checking US vendors for the G1 head and lat filler sets/upgrades and only finding preorders still.

Does anyone have them in stock yet?

 

TCP still lists the estimate release date as "January 2017". I take this to mean they have no idea when.

 

Not helpful but funny.   Agabyss HAD some but I didn't get there quick enough.  

 

It has been released at least a month a ago.
