I mean, not really. It would be a more appropriate comparison if FT started including the new head with the figure moving forward but the early adopters had to pay extra for it.

I'm not faulting TW, btw. I get both sides of it. Unfortunately, no matter what TW did, they weren't going to please everyone.

So you're calling Constructor a chug because you think the individual bots are too simple in their transformation and are only MP in scale only? Just an honest question since I haven't read anyone else say that so far.

So in my impatience for TFS Express/Toyworld to actually do something about my broken Concrete (no word since Friday), I put in a cheeky starting £30 bid on a standalone one on eBay... and won! The intention is to sell him when I actually my faulty one finally repaired.

Er, he's gonna be quite big, isn't he?

Well, he's no Generations Metroplex, but yeah, he's gonna be YUGE! And heavy, Devy. He's all kinds of awesome. Enjoy!

Does anyone know where the purple barrel can be purchased from? It seems BBTS had it on preorder forever

He's on my desk currently, and comes up to the top of my monitor which is already on a riser.

No, that's not what I was saying. And I definitely don't think these are too simple in their transformations to be MP. The vile term 'chug' is supposed to mean an updated take on G1, as far as I know. But like I said, 'you' (aka I) can shoehorn this one in as MP because he's at least G1 toy accurate and reasonably toon accurate otherwise. I'm using it myself. But I am calling what we've seen so far of their other combiners big chugs. Blackout being part of Bruticus takes the cake! But that response was based on the notion of supporting TW because they're the only ones making MP scale combiners...I was basically pointing out that there is a BIG difference between making MP scale combiners and making MP style combiners. If it's one and the same to you or anyone else, though...great. I just recommend waiting for the v2 release...

So, hopefully TW will sell a V1 upgrade (downgrade?) set with silver thighs and the original head. Cause I like the silver thighs better.

No, it just means that one day soon all of this will be real. We will think they are cool while being hunted down by a Decepticon. It's the circle of life, Simba. Don't forget complete with mass shifting. They will figure that stuff out too along with getting the colors right that we can never seem to do.

Oh joy, so I might have spotted another error. Does anyone know if the elbow joint should be designed to have the screws facing inwards on both sides? Because on mine the screws are facing outwards on the left arm:

Is that what this thing looks like now?
Pardon my ignorance, i have not been reading the last... 550 pages or so. But this looks very different from what I had seen before.
I always thought the head was terrible. It kept me from even considering it.
But this is a new head, and a few other things too. Is that what it looks like out of the box if you buy it as a set right now?
Or do I have to buy the set, buy the upper leg kit, and buy the replacement head?
Do I also have to buy the Burden add-on kit and the purple mixer barrel as well?

he looks great, but Im curious how blue are the 'purple' bits :)  I'm wondering if the camera is making them look bluer than they appear in hand.
