I like a lot of what they're doing with this Prime, but looks like he will have bigger panels on his back, and his butt isn't going to b as accurate to the CGI as Challenger's is. Definitely picking this guy at some point in time!!

 

The guy below says that rather than actually being Black Mamba it was a freelancer who was allowed to use Black Mamba's spare display space. If correct (I don't know him to judge his level of knowledge) it would be similar to Garatron Thunderwing being displayed with TFC stuff partly because there wasn't enough Garatron to give them a dedicated display. There are people still assume Garatron is TFC due to that.

Toy World's "New Plan"
General consensus is Transmetal Cheetor. It's a little stylised and "edgier" but the details fit. If you look at the hands/wrists/forearms you can even kind of see how they'll fit together to form the cat head.
The proportions are a little off - the torso needs to be about 15% larger or the hip and legs 15% smaller. But otherwise it's pretty nice. Still pretty early on though

I think the look of TW Optimus Overall is very good. Face Looks also very good.
BUT....as many said:

1) I also can not unsee these Popeye Forearms
2) The Waist / Hip Looks VERY VERY Strange and thin

The thin Waist seems if it could break easily.

I will watch this Optimus Progress...but i think UT will be the Winner for a VERY long time.

Is this Fans Toys Optimus a real Project or Fake?
I have also heard that Fanstoys wants to do Optimus, but many say
it is Fake, because FT never does Movie Toys, only G1 Figures.

I don't know dude, for me that Optimus design actually has Popeye arms and a narrow waist, the V shaped abdomen is more organic, much more than UT's; not like two boxes in top of each other, HOWEVER the alt mode is where UT is vastly superior. I really really hope they can improve the vehicle.

 

It is. You can't seem him that well, but that's on OS Grimlock repainted over Prime's other shoulder. I'm hoping the OS Scorn coming is big enough to fit with these two as well.

 

The details and general build seem awesome in bot mode, but the proportions are still off in some key areas: The hands are too small, the elbows are too low down, and the worst thing is the shoulder pads are puny. However the flaws you listed on Challenger are not wrong. He is a little boxy especially in the waist area. I will reserve judgement for when this guy is further along. I have no problem with buying both and selling whichever is the lesser figure.

 

Have TW shown the alt-mode?

 

Yeah this beefy design I’m really digging it and the more I look at it. It looks spot on to the TLK movie prime than other 3rd party designs.

 

...You know, I was thinking this guy might actually be better than Challenger if they can just fix his skirts, oppai, and shoulder pads, but...

...now I remember why I decided to erase this thing from my memory...
