I like the original battle mask face better but the new open face is just epic.

 

Definitely looks Better, but something still seems off about it

 

I like how they are gradually working on the toy.

 

I like the details they add on his face. Especially the masked version.

 

would like to see if he can improve the truck mode

 

They chose to show off the new faces in the worst way possible, with hard light from above so the details are hard to gauge. Looks like a big improvement but I want to see normal pics.

 

it's weird but i really like the truck mode that toy world has. I don't like the truck desing irl, but i like how the squished the windshield. it makes it look kinda mad maxish.

 

IDK the face seems a bit wide to me. I did a digibash adjustment..

 

Aoe/tlk were just awful films, so bad that i didn't even finish TLK I don't think. For this reason I couldn't care any less about the accuracy or scale. This guy looks amazing, he will be going next to Rendsora.

 

TLK takes the bigger cake because the aspect ratio keeps changing throughout the movie for IMAX/non-IMAX scenes that it felt like watching an amateur fanfilm with a shitty edit(like, who the f*** else does that!?) That aside, I caved in and PO'd this guy, ass or no ass. All I hope is that the paintjob turns out great and the transformation is not El-Cid's level of nonsense.

 

Despite me usually preferring accuracy to the source material, if the toy is cool enough, I can make some acceptions. I feel like this is the best looking tlk op.

 

The wider face is more accurate to how he really looks.

Lots of imax movies do that. The dark knight series did that. Rotf did that.

The more I look at this figure the more I want him..I have AA El-CID and mine has no issues, he stands well and I don't plan on transforming him much (same goes for my MPM Optimus), but I love the size of TWs and I think he will stand well next to Rendorsa....for now. I think TW will do a Last Knight Megs at some point and he can take Rendorsa's spot. But I love how things are shaping up for this figure

 

Definitely looks wider than what you did. I think it looks quite accurate to what TW has done. Only thing is it looks like it comes apart under the eyes which makes it look segmented.

 

Yeah he looks like he's wearing a ninja turtle bandana. That's why I don't like the new masked face. The eyes seem like they stick out further than the battle mask.

 

Well the new sculpted head is definitely a big improvement over the original.

 

The New Face Looks really awesome.

But when i saw the Price of 140$!!! At TFSource, i thought "Face Looks badass, but still Popeye Arms and THEN 140$??? No thanks".

The Figure Overall Looks very tempting, i admit.

But once i Import the Figure into European Union, the Price should be
....lets see around 180$-200$. No thanks. I almost get 2 Unique Toys Figures for that Price on Kapow Toys.

 

 

Toyworld's figure & UT Challenger are the exact same price at TFSource...

That said, I'll probably go ShowZ or Ebay when I finally get Challenger.

 

Meh, if they're gonna make the vehicle mode absolute garbage, I'm expecting better from the robot mode.
