For me, it would have to be the Classics UM vs Skywarp two pack. I saw it for $14 at Target and left it.

Also, Cybertron Override, Cybertron Defense Red Alert, and Cybertron Supreme Starscream on clearance, but those I could live without.

Classics Ultra Magnus. I was able to get ahold of two Skywarps with the help of two board members, but the one time I actually saw the set in person I didn't have the money to buy it at the time. I still wouldn't mind getting him.

An Energone Omega, either color. I see that headmaster component and kick myself for passing time and again.

There's too many to list. That's why I'm in the process of rebuilding my G1 collection. I've even HAD some of my "holy grails" and wound up having to sell them. I don't know what's worse, having just not taken the opportunity to get the item you've wanted or having actually HAD the item you've always wanted and no longer owning it.

I could go on for days, considering my grandpa had a toy store when I was a child of the 80's.

However, in my adult years I can say:

*All of Beast Machines...I love that series.
*Cybertron when on clearance...I did however, manage to snag Quickmix for $3 and Megs for $5, then later Primus for $20-twice :)
*All of Classics. Yep, I passed on ALL of them in stores, even when they were shelf-warming around here. To date, I've only caught up with Prime, Mirage and Grimlock so far.

Hmm, there were the clearanced Nemesis Breaker and CD Scattorshot for $15 each. I guess I should have bought a few more clearanced UM&SW packs to sell or trade later. Maybe a $20 Primus to sell or trade again later. Oh, and Cybertron Galvatron for retail. I guess that's about it because I didn't start collecting until Cybertron.

    Target Exclusive Magmatron for $16.

    Beast Wars 10th Optimus Primal

Leader Class Movie Optimus Prime, but then I could never find another one after BotCon happened. Sucked my state dry of TF's for a good 3 months.

I got a somewhat long list of others...but one day, one day I shall have them all!

My main problem is that I usually end up liking a toy after it's been in the stores for a while.

I'd have to say G1 Soundwave with all his cassettes and Hound. Both are my favorite characters and I had them as a kid. They were in one of the boxes of my childhood toys that got "misplaced".

As a teenager, picked up a Trypticon for $35 on clearance. Few months later they had Scorponok for the same price and I thought "no, it looks stupid!" Must have been looking at a reflection.

TRU exclusive Beast Wars Optimus Primal-Megatron 2-pack. When the TF:TM toys were just coming out, I went to TRU daily to check for them. All I found were a couple Classics toys, and a ton of the 2-packs. Never thought twice about buying it for some reason, and within a week they were gooooone.

the only real thing I missed out on the later years is that freaking E-hobby Astrotrain that was out there for 60 and then boom now it cost like 300 for a misb one.

waits for all the other billions of ppl who did the same.

Wish I would have hit Beast Wars earlier than Transmetal, still my favorite series.

Some of the Beast Machines, kinda meh but still like the characters.
The energon combiners, Cybertron Defense Scattorshot and Red Alert.

I saw MP Starscream in store once and definately should have gotten it, ah well...thats life.
