Looking at Landfill (Build King) in his animated form:

    Compared to the actual toy...

His legs are sooooo bulky in toy form. but it can't be avoided as the legs are essentially just the vehicles put sideways... Now if only the legs should mass-shift such that they were longer and not nearly as wide eh?

Any other figures you'd think would benefit from something like Mass Shifting? Aside from the obvious like cars should be MUCH smaller than planes that is.

Pretty much every toy, but in particular, SG Megatron. Good golly his artwork is inspired, but the toy not so much.

I know exactly what you mean with Landfill; it's the reason I'm selling my set.

I'd love to have some kind of properly mass-shifting Bayverse Frenzy toy...

DOTM Voyager Ironhide, so it could be bigger than TFTM Ratchet in robot mode. Also Voyager Blackout!

MP Megatron. I love both modes, but mass shifting to the size of a real P38 would be awesome :)

Also, Death Star Vader should be able to make a bigger Death Star :D

Combiners. If combiner toys could mass shift for limbs that are better proportioned it would be pretty cool.

yeah, but that's just a case of a mold being too small in the first place, IMHO. Both bot and plane could stand to be about 50% bigger.

    I'd kill for a mass-shifting Frenzy/Wheelie/Brains.

Also Blackarachnia. And a Depthcharge who's backpack could become smaller than the actual robot. Oh, and Rhinox. And Rattrap. And Dinobot. (the most physically impossible TF ever? A contender)

    actually...
after looking at landfill and then the animation model, it makes me think what looks great in the toy form, looks very SILLY in animation form. look at those "hands" for example. in the toy i can live with those clipper hands, but it looks very stupid/lazy in the animation form.

to be honest i think it looks BETTER in the toy form then it does in the animation form.

    Win.

Mine would be G1 Blaster, and most of the combiners. What I feel is funny is that we actually did get quite a bit of mass shifting tech with the Human Alliance figures. Look at HA Jazz. He's super small in alt mode, but turns into a very tall robot.
