I'll be sure to post it in this thread when they arrive.
I'd kind of like to get an Energon Towline to repurpose into a CHUG Ironhide. I'm not sure what the Botcon version sells for...or Energon Towline, for that matter.
Fall of Cybertron Whirl as Damus or "Glitch" he has gone by a more infamous name though
new army of land/sea sharkticons.
beats the ass out of the botcon ones anyway.
I'll be army building POTP Cindersaur since the G1 toy was the basis for Firecon drones in Masterforce.
I'm toying with the idea of army building with RID Bludgeon and Blastwave as the drone Army Bludgeon was having built on his War World in the G2 comics.
Bludgeons could function as drone commanders and Blastwaves could function as mass-produced drone soldiers. Not a bad idea, I might use this myself I'm always looking to bulk up Bludgeon's forces.
So I've been really about this life lately - I just bought a Cybertron Smokescreen for Rad, a Cybertron Crosswise for Jackpot, a POTP Jazz for Kick-Off, and I just bought a CHUG Perceptor from a friend of mine on Instagram to be Mainframe. Soon I plan on buying an Energon Landmine to be Lost Light/IDW Landmine, and then I should be done for a second.
Cybertron Jetfire to cut out his leg joints and install om Armada Megatron to give him sick knee-articulation.
TLK Ravenspar and Gij&tf advanced cobra bat both to be used as legion and deluxe Prime Soundblaster.
Though I'm pretty sure both of these figures were made to serve that purpose anyways.
I've started repainting a movie Clocker as Minimus Ambus but strangely yesterday, I noticed Botcon Tigatron, a retool of the Clocker mold, could be repurposed as him.
I've been using the TR Ultra Magnus as Minimus Ambus.
Botcon Tigatron is probably way too expensive to buy just for a repurposing. If you're that into having a standalone Ambus (and why not just buy the super good Ultra Magnus?) I'd stick with your current plan.
I did buy Ultra Magnus and the third party white cab but I didnt like the tiny Ambus figure so I binned it.
A collector could buy what they want. When I finally get around to getting Chevy Aveo Swerve, he's going to be Rad on my shelf. What difference does it make to anyone what I call the robot on my shelf, or what spot they stand in?
Lol at this point who doesn’t
As promised here is TR Crosshairs with his little buddy Pinpointer. I used the tribute Orion Pax, put the Ptero titanmaster on and put the Orion Pax Titan master in the shell(it helps that the Pax titanmaster looks like Pinpointer and the colours of the Cloudburst shell, the main body, Ptero and Pax all match. You might want to tighten up the arm that will hold the gun.
I could see Armada Skywarp and Universe Ramjet working as Cybertronian versions of Movie Skywarp and Ramjet.
I've heard a lot of people using movie figures for Cybertronian modes and the Classics designs for the Earth modes.
Just bought Titans Return Twinferno from Hasbro's ebay shop for $8.45 shipped. Going to repaint the dragon heads, wings and tail so that I can make him the 6th dinobot. (Slash is meh)
