In response to the Top 5 Worst Transformers thread, I figured this was called for.

I'll start us off with Beast Wars Injector. Is it ugly? Yep. Is it imaginative, articulated, and crazy awesome in every conceivable way? Also yep.

Also, WFC Bumblebee. I can't understand the hate for this guy (please explain it if you can). I freakin' love him. He's well-armed, super-articulated, and aesthetically pleasing.

I really, really like Universe Galvatron.

That may be tied to my unique ability to handle and transform him without making pieces come off.

ROTF Blazemaster. The 'copter mode is fantastic, probably the most accurate helicopter TF I have seen. The bot mode is a bit... odd, but I still like him overall. Most people seem to despise the figure though.

    Runner-up is definately Universe Galvatron.

The whole PCC line and most of Energon.
Also, apparently the hate for WFC Bumblebee is because of the transformation and to a lesser extent, the fact that he looks fat.

I only own one PCC (Bombshock with the Combaticons, although I want to pick up Smolder at some point), and he's pretty awesome.

At the very least, he's got a ton of articulation (BALL JOINTS FTW) and can serve as a modern incarnation of my favorite Micromaster.

-Classics Tankor/Octane. And for that matter Astrotrain. While the latter seems to be generally embraced, neither of the 'Con triplechangers seem too popular. But I think they're both pretty solid, innovative little figures.

-ROTF Sideways. You never hear much about him, but I love this mold. Once you flip down his leg-doors to compensate for his teensy feet, he is extremely posable and has tons of character. He's one of my favorite car-bot molds.

-Botcon and Universe Springer. People dislike both of these figure because they aren't "real" (i.e. triple-changing) Springers, and because they are repaints of Cybertron figures, but I think both are pretty nice in their own right.

-Animated deluxe Bumblebee. I don't get the dislike for this mold. He's pretty screen-accurate, very posable, and fun to transform. I dig him.

-Classics Powerglide. So much complaining about his size ("why is an airplane big, it should be smaller than a car 'cause that's what it was in 1985!!!") and about his top-heavy physique. But I adore this mold, in all its different color schemes.

G1. A lot of people call them bricks but the Diaclones were works of art and convey more realism than their Classics incarnations ever will. Though I will admit to being disappointed with Hound and Skids when I got them. I love G1 Megatron.

    Universe Galvatron.

    Universe Springer.

    Actionmasters.

G1 Ironhide and Ratchet. Get the custom clip on heads from Ebay. They make a world of difference.

ROTF Nightbeat. Love the car mode. If only we could get a third party G1 head for the thing.

Armada Sideswipe. I just wish he was a Basic.

Energon Optimus Prime. What PCC's should have been, i.e. bigger!

    Titanium War Within Seekers.

    Armada Megatron.

A few fans do not like the Crossover lines, but I like them.

To the dismay to the haters, they are selling well. For the last 5+ years, I think Star Wars Crossover is the longest running TF line since G1.

    HA Sideswipe

    MP Greenscream

    BT Prime

Universe Galvatron (although I do really, really wish he was bigger).

    ROTF Rampage

Sideswipe, Prime, and Starscream are all among my all time favorites, and I seem to read endless negative comments on all three of them.

BW Transmetals Prowl. Yes, robot mode is crap, but I love, love, love his cyborg owl mode with it's spinning head and color scheme. Just a fun and cool looking little dude that I've never heard anyone say a peep about one way or the other.

Superlink DLX Grand Convoy. I have no way to justify this, I just like it for some odd reason.

DLX Movie Jazz. Okay, so I hadn't seen the movie when I got the figure but I liked it for what it was: a stubby, bulky little dude who looks like he could handle himself in a fight. Also the car back/shield & gun armament combo was pretty cool as well.

G1 Point Blank. This guy gets no love, yet he had cool car and robot modes, one of the best face sculpts of G1 and was a targetmaster - why aren't people clamoring for his classics version?

G1 Pretenders. The first wave, not the ones that were beasts or vehicles. Armored humans and beasts with lots of accessories and a transformable robot inside? Pretty cool, especially for the time. I would love to see how these could be updated. A Skullgrin Pretender with today's sculpting and tech? Yes, plz!

Oh, and put me down as another for Uni. Galvatron. Sure, it'd been great to get him in voyager scale, but I'm happy enough with this one for now.

Man, and I thought I was the only one who didn't mind Universe Galvatron too much.
