my friend and i were just strolling into toys r us, and i rush to the transformers section....and i was just speechless.... notice anything off in this pic? in case u still cant notice, heres a closer look... IT EVEN HAS AUTOBOT STICKERS ON IT!! any theories?
I wish toy stores would start doing something about this sort of thing.... perhaps say, all returns over $5.00 have to checked by the manager or something. Even someone who knows NOTHING about TFs would figure out it's not the same toy if they looked at it properly. I hope the person who did this gets a busted toy for Xmas and can't return it.
Dude, Variant! Nah, Im Kidding, but what the hell is that thing supposed to be, It doesnt look like anything. Also, how much does that thing retail as, cus I bet its a lot less than ol' Metro. And aswell, surely the guy would have noticed it looks nothing like on the back of the box, or the front, What a dumbass.
I guess somebody wanted Metro, but not that toy, so they get a free Metro, sneaky jerk's. Doesnt this just make you wonder, why go to the trouble of re sealing and labelling some crappy toy, just for the sake of a free Metroplex.
Well, that's one way to buy Metroplex for about what he's actually worth, I suppose. Out of curiosity, did you leave it there or report it to the staff?
ya what he said ^ ? anyway that funny, i also in my wal-mart had a rat toy instead of SNarl and a dollar store car instead of Red Alert
Kay, even if someone was too much of a moron not to notice upon return, wouldn't they notice when they sat it down next to the real Metroplex on the shelf? So what do you wanna bet whoever did this is a member on here?
that's funny... and really sad, considering somebody basically found a clever way of stealing a Metroplex.
I wouldn't say it was to clever, hopefully the idiot presented his license to return it and they have his contact info, that's if the employee wasn't as stupid whenasking for the info.
What I'm kind of curious about now is if someday a Power Rangers fan is going to go in there, see it, and be excited to have found a vintage Tiger Zord.
