New Deep Discounts Begin May 8th At Toys 'R' Us And Babies 'R' Us Stores During Going Out Of Business Sale
@toysrus on Instagram: “PRICES JUST SLASHED AGAIN! Now take 30-50% off STOREWIDE! Hurry in for best selection at the #toysrusclosingsale ! #toysrus #babiesrus…”
My TRU dropped every category down 5-10% EXCEPT Action figures, they stayed at 30%
Anyone know if Legos are or will go on sale? I know as of like 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks ago they were only 10% off, if they go on more of a discount, I may have to run back to a store quick. Haha!
They're at 15% now. I'd get what you want while you can.

Captains jumping ship:
C-suite to clear out at Toys 'R' Us - Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) | Seeking Alpha
They're not really jumping ship, they're not really in charge anymore anyway. More like the new captains took over the ship, and they're going back to shore on a lifeboat.
Post I saw shows a Babies R Us with about 50 Grotesques, so it seems distribution is crossing the lines.

I went to the TRU Outlet at the Vineland Outlets in Orlando over the weekend...what a genuinely sad sight. They were down to a section of a wall's worth of stock. Everyone who came in after me was about as shocked as I was.
My local Toys R Us has been at 30-50 off for a while. Considering Toys R Us was always 10-20% more expensive that Walmart and target, there weren't many good deals. Also since they were taken over by the liquidators, they priced everything off original MSRP. I saw a lot of items that were actually far more expensive that they were before Toys R Us filed for bankruptcy.
Every Skylander was $.50 for months, but then they went to $7.
I've got my eye on a few things I might pick up at 70% off, but I won't overpay for something that isn't really worth buying.
I laughed hysterically when I saw the Star Wars Landspeeder for $125. I wonder if anyone other than some dumb rich parent who didn't care about money bought one of those things. Maybe pricing that thing higher than the huge 12 Volt Jeep Hurricane Power Wheels was a dumb idea.
We got one (for retail price when it came out) - my kids love it! No regrets at all. Guess I'm a dumb parent.
Why have regrets lol, no one would have know of price slashes, and if you kid loves em then good on you! I don't see why people have to be rich or whatever to get stuff that's a bit pricey, heck some of us have a figure that would cost more than the landspeeder lol. So really who's to judge lol.
I'm wondering if the Bratz guy will try to get the bulk of TRU's American holdings by simply buying them from the people who buy them first.
Mine have been that way also. One of them even had an extra 10% for one day last week as well
Is the G2 Primus getting the 30% or 50% discount? I’d’ve assumed the 50, but I’m not quite sure.
All boy toys get the lower end of that 30-50. It's BS marketing tactics to fool you into the store - the only thing 50% off is garbage junk yiu wouldn't buy free!
This is a horrible liquidation sale. Slow, minimal discounts, truly a "sale" for casuals and desperate scalpers.
It's only 30% off, assuming you can still find one.
I was able to get Cybertron at one of the stores that we knew were closing before the axe fell, and got that for 40% plus 10% that day. I haven't seen any in stores since ALL were doing liquidations since about the 10% days. Glad I didn't wait.
