News post: Toys R Us Canada: Here To Stay! - Transformers News - TFW2005
That’s some great news!
Agreed, the TRU stories have been a wild ride to witness these last few months - sad for the demise of the U.S. & U.K. operations while happy that other branches like Canada's have been able to survive.
That is awesome! I'm glad its surviving somewhere.
Yaaaay! While my local TRU could be much improved in what items it stocks, it is for the most part pretty good. Happy it will be sticking around.
I'd make a political joke about how relevant this is now... but... nevermind.
Glad about this.
(also good for our fella @Lazerwave )
Who would have thought Canada would be the one to stay.
After seeing Target come and go I was expecting a slow surrender, but guess not. I’ve got 5-6 within a 20 min drive of me, so more options staying open are always welcome.
Canada is lucky. They got Peter Cullen, Ryan Renyolds, William Shatner, Nathan Fillion, Bryan Adams, Jim Carrey, Tara Strong, Tom Cavanaugh and Terrance & Philip.
Anyways, congratluations to our neighbors of the north.
Great news really, not just for what TRU means but particularly for the people who are not losing their jobs.
Feeling of jealousy intensifies
For once, us Canadians won out. Long live Toys R Us and their...acceptable stock!
Today is a great day for Canada and therefore of course the world.
Whenever I was on vacation in the states, I always map out all the Toysrus in the states. But now, it's going to have to be the opposite.
Nice to see people won't be losing their jobs and to the people here that want to make this a political issue or to flame bait, well, you'll be taking out a large withdrawal from the bank of bad karma.
That's freaking awesome. Too bad the U.S. doesn't do that with like, say California?
Now all we need is a little traffic, and a lot of luck.
Ok, we get it, you're a Canadian business now.
Now we can start wondering if Canada invades the Ooh Ess Eh goes into administration Canadian TRUs will expand their franchise back down North America, should they perform strongly.
Ya know, I often hear that California is the 5th Largest Economy in the World, but as William Gibson likes to toot,
~The future is already here: it’s just not very evenly distributed~
Also, if we’re going to get political express a sense of civic exchangement in daily life, Canada still needs to keep those tar sands and oil shale in the ground!
That’s pretty cool; congratulations guys!
