Took the kids yesterday. There was a bunch of 80s toys in the exhibits. Only a couple Transformers, but they have a large Barbie land exhibit and the Ryan White displays of his old toys are amazing. If you are ever in Indy, it is worth the trip. Lot's of stuff for the kids too do and have fun. Someone with a huge G1 collection should hire out their stuff to this place. TF needs more representation there than a lonely Slag (probably a knock-off anyway).
I think you're right...isn't that gray edge between the picture of Slag and the window an indication? --Moony
I'm pretty sure that Slag is not a knock off. It has been there for a very long time. The whole room that the Slag resides in is actually pretty cool. It is an exhibit of toys and video games from different eras with (sometimes) working video game systems that the kids can play from many different eras. And yeah, they should do a TF exhibit. They have done many very cool Star Wars and Comic Book exhibits over the years. Very fun place to take the kiddos if you ever find yourself in Indy. The Dinosaur exhibit is top notch!!
That life size Bumbleebee is going to be awesome. My son has a Bumbleebee shirt on and all the staff kept stopping us to let us know he was coming, lol.
Bumblebee has arrived!- 'Bumblebee' Debuts At Children's Museum - Photos - WRTV Indianapolis Can't wait to see him when my family and I get to move BACK to Indy this summer. (Hey, wait.....did I actually report a piece of news? Awesome!)
My wife and I spent the day there on our honeymoon. Where the Barbie display is now was a huge comic book display, including TF G1 toys, the costume Adam West wore on "Batman", Christopher Reeve's Superman costume, and one of the Batmobiles used in the filming of "The Dark Knight". My wife and I fun pointing out which toys we had at home.
