Heavy/Scratch: - 48" Devastator ("Bruderstator") 1:16th scale
OMG just can't believe what I see, that is far beyond of AWESOME!
I love @G.I.EDDIE bruderstator so much.
I'm in love with this thing. I'm still blown away this retails for less than 2 benjamins. This is now definitely the centerpiece of my entire collection... at least until they do a nemesis repaint... please do a nemesis repaint!
love the accompanying iron maiden. \m/
Freaking LOVE how he fits in to my 1:18th collection! Wish my JSI F-14 was Starscream deco'd.
Despite the LED's, I wish the eyes were painted. That's really the only flaw I can find on the guy. The paint on mine is immaculate from what I can tell.
Ridiculous... -Ly Amazing.
I my paint is pretty much perfect on Prime, but his gun has a little gold that smeared. I too wish the eyes were painted. I'll experiment with painting them. Hopefully the LED will still shine through. Like Takara MP-10, he looks dead without the LEDs on.
Hey gi Eddie, love this picture. What did you use for bumblebee and mirage.
Thanks yurgo. Bumblebee and Hound are 1:18th diecast. Mirage is a 1:20th Tamiya model. It's about a ½" short of 1:18th scale. It's a very nice kit, comes in correct plastic colors so no painting required, but the decals are old and difficult to deal with. There's a beautiful diecast Porsche 935 (Jazz) out there, but it's quite pricey.
I was thinking of selling mine. I really like it, but I have no place to put it and need the money more.
Any one interested?
I saw a pic like this somewhere else.... so I had to recreate it.
So now that people have had this for a minute, what are thoughts on how it holds up as a toy? Everyone still dazzled and impressed? Particularly, I'm curious about the stiffness of the hip joints, and QC issues.
Anyway, BBTS has it up for preorder again, and I'm still on the fence.
Everything aside from the forward/backward movement of the legs is great, at least on my copy. I won't be at all surprised when something in that crotch section cracks. It feels and sounds like awfulness in there.
Does the Porsche have a number 4 on it?
Got the Review up for this one. Overall I think it's an extremely great deal for the price and while it's no where near the quality of the Ultimetal, I'd say at <$200 it's still a great display piece and a no-brainer of a choice between the two. Mine has looseness in the shoulder swing and elbow (both on left side) though and I honestly had had it in a very static "A stance" since receiving it. I haven't been reading other reports of this so I'm not sure if it's an actual issue or mine is just a dud in that sense (hopefully the latter.) Regardless, I don't regret picking this one up.

Some pics from it.
Ultimetal is the only dude in history to skip upper body day in favor of leg day.
and in that picture, MAS-01 is working on abs during the photoshoot
