Little tip for you and others that are unaware of the difference ( I see it often). Thumbs out equals "I love you" and thumbs in equals "rock on/rock n' roll/metal". Just trying to be helpful.

Okay...so I got this email from BBTS saying "Preorders Processing Soon - TYA10000 - MAS-01 Optimus Prime Mega 18" Action Figure"

So does this mean I am finally about to get mine? I have never received an email like this from them and just wanted to know if this is a positive thing or am I still looking at sometime in May?

 

I haven't ordered from BBTS in a while, but when I did, it was about 50/50 whether or not I would get a notification like that. So yeah, you should be getting it soon'ish.

 

Yeah, they should have it in the next couple of weeks. You should have it by mid april, unless you got a POL going.

 

No POL for me....I am just finally excited to soon get this.

Took this a while back, Still need to find a way to paint the eyes.

 

SO....a couple of quick questions I have not seen asked:

What size batteries (I have heard it takes 3 for head and 3 for the matrix) does this thing take so I can go ahead and get them?

I have also heard people say stuff about painting the eyes on more than one post....wouldn't that affect the light feature shining through if you painted the eyes?

 

From BBTS's description of him, it takes 6 of 377 SR626SW. Depends on the kind of paint you use. If you use too opaque of a paint, the light feature won't shine through. Need to use a thin coat of a transparent paint. Hope that helps.
