    I'll probably pick this up to go with my ultimetal prime... don't feel like waiting 3 years to get their Megatron....

    They really won't match aesthetically, and this guy is taller. I'm still getting it, as I have MAS Prime as well, but UM Megatron will be the centerpiece of my collection if it ever gets made!

    Its a freakin statue bot. Doesnt even transform. Why not just get MP-36 when the reissue drops? So sick of this tread of overpriced non-transforming statue bots.

    What?

    It's actually an action figure, a big one at that.

    Why the fuck would you want something that big to transform? Even then, this is a licensed third party product, Has/Tak WILL NEVER ALLOW other companies to make transforming TF characters, ever. (Hot toys/3A/Ultimetal/etc)

    It's cheaper than MP 36.

    No one is forcing you to buy it.

    Hearing the same stupidity gets tiresome. "if it doesn't transform, it's not a transformer".

    Speak for yourself, I don't even transform my MP's.

    Like i've said before about MAS-01 Optimus, I have enough Primes that transform. Same thing with Megatron. I have MP-36 and I love it. These I like because of the representation of the characters. Doesn't matter to me if official, licensed, or third party transforms or not. I collect these for the characters, transformations are just a bonus IMO.

    Action figure thread = troll bait. Annoying, but I guess I'll deal with it.

    And yes, this is not a "statue". Statues don't move. This is an action figure. And a bad-ass one at that. I've got tons of MPs from Takara and various 3Ps. MAS-01 is my favorite... by a mile. It helps that he's wonderfully painted, articulated and HUGE.
