Not Sure, But maybe it is
The Hasbro Advertisement features Bumblebee in a starry backdrop similar to the Packaging Art seen before thanks to various leaks. “Hasbro 2011” trademark can also be spotted.
The biggest thing against this being a DOTM render is the existence of the smaller line around the black stripes. It's been on the previous Bumblebee's but, looking at this photo, that border line isn't there anymore. Now, it is just two black stripes further apart. If you look at the shoulder bit just to the left of Bumblebee's head in the picture, you can see that border line again.
Also, look at the fog lights. The new Camaro has very distinct fog lights (or are they intake now, I can't tell) while the render seems (it's hard to tell at this resolution) that the fog lights are round like in ROTF.
That being said, I don't see the border line on the chest piece and it's hard to make out for sure what's in the foglight spot, so this might be.
Yea I see it 2 I knew it wasn't DOTM bumblebee
This isn't a render of the new 'Bee.
I've noticed that Bumbblebee has those G1 horns on his head this time. I see Hasbro did tell micheal Bay what fans wanted and what they didnt like, and his put them in.
He's always had those.
Did anybody else notice that, the Hasbro section doesn't even mention Transformers?
I...don't remember very many, if any, complaints from fans about Bumblebee and his horns, be it whether they were there or not.
Do Hasbro UK even know what a Transformer is???!!!
Your not the only one here
Where the hell the transformer section damn you Hasbro, you made me go through pages of shit.
The Black stripe is in a different place on his chest.... and there's a black strip under the lights...
The reason is this is hasbro UK, they're going to use paid for magazine space to promote UK generated product over a mega brand like transformers with a multimillion dollar movie and promotion machine already behind it.
That mag is making the UK toyfair seem bigger than it is. I've been round that entire show in half a day before.
If Hasbro have the restriced viewing room for the DOTM stuff like they've done in previous year don't expect more than one or two pieces to be 'leaked'
Its been over a year since I've looked through that industry mag and not a great deal has changed by the looks ofthings
you'd think not give their previous handling of the ranges.
You also have to remember a lot of their decisions re Transformers is made for them by Hasbro main office and when it comes to transformers Hasbro UK is basically just a distributer
