    Have not seen this information posted anywhere but Toyfare(the mag) has pictures posted of the new Art Asylum G1 Transformers busts.

    - Soundwave (Wow, this one's nice!)
    - Grimlock
    - Optimus Prime
    - Megatron (Is that the heart of Cybertron on the based?)
    - Starscream

    Pics are here;

    I wasn't going to buy one but then I saw it in my friend's comic book shop. I just turned to him and said "Here is the credit card, box it up for me, and don't tell me what the cost is for the statue." I looked at my reciept a couple of weeks later and it cost me around $250.00.

    Here is a picture of it at my last TRU TF event.

    They are mostly hit and miss. Prime is ok, though I like the base. I like Soundwave a lot. Megatron is meh. Basically it seems the ones with mouths look ugly. Like they should had a huge burp.

    Omega Supreme is definitely mine. The busts look good except Bumblebee, not a big fan of busts in general though.

    Woah, Grimlock is a must buy for me. Art-Asylum really knows how to pose their statues up. The previous busts and statues by other companies usually had boring poses.

    Those are pretty nice. Kind of half way between Hard Hero and Pali...Paldi...uh, the Pat Lee ones.

    Grimlock is ace.

    Is it just me, or does the picture make it look like Megatron has a big Tom Selleck mustache!? ;)

    I'm glad to see someone still wanting to do some cool TF statues, but wow I dislike all of these. Poor Omega has a massive case of the squats.:thumbdown

    Looking forward to Starscream. I don't care for busts in general but it's Starscream so I have little choice. At least the release date is far enough away so I can save for it.

    I was thinking the same. It looks to me like they started with the cartoon model sheets, and added selected details direct from the toys. (like the various painted bits that mirror the stickers on the G1 toys for Grimlock and Bumblebee)

    Some are neato, some are kinda off.
