Ok, with the 2010 Toyfair in a month, what do you think/ hope Hasbro will show off Transformer wise?

    my guess is

    1) Universe 3.0 announcements (maybe show a few figures for it)
-Voyager Soundwave (speculated, semi confirmed for if line returns)
    -Voyager Rhinox (rumored)
    -Deluxe Brawn, Wheeljack, Jazz, Trailbeaker
    -Voyager Shockwave, Grapple and Hoist

2)War For Cybertron figures (probably part of Universe, not seperate line)
    -Optimus
    -Megatron

    3) Power Core Combiners (New Show? Probably the line that Hasbro would hype the most)
-Confirmed: Huffer, Unknown Decepticon Fire Truck
-good chance of making it in the line:
    -Optimus Prime
    -Ratchet
    -Megatron
    -Starscream
    -Bumblebee
    -Prowl
    -Jazz
    -Skywarp
    -Thundercracker
    -Shockwave
-Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Silverstreak, Ironhide, and actually most of the names of the 84 to 89 cast
(I figure the above since Hasbro likes to keep the trademarks of the main TF's, so another company won't get them)
-Characters I would like to see
    -Star Sabre
    -Deathsaurus

    4) ROTF run offs (odds are the rest of the NEST subline)

    5) any reissues that Hasbro has planned

I agree with most all you said. I think we will be seeing the rest of the RoTF line, more or less, definitely the Powercore figures, and if the power core isn't the new ain line, then probably what ever it is that they have in store for that. And more than likely th latest news of Universe 3.0... so I guess I agree on everything you just said

Well see the new classics line i can guess (it won't be called universe), will get the powercore figures fully unveiled, what is left for Animated and ROTF.....Hasbro has said that a wheeljack of some kind has been in the works, i am curious as to what line he belongs

I hope much of what the thread author wrote does come out (though wouldn't Hoist be a deluxe repaint/remold of Trailbreaker if it came to pass?), though I also hope for some release dates to be given for what's left of the Animated releases, if that's possible.

I think they said recently that the Rhinox idea didn't follow through.

I expect ROTF will be the big showpiece, with new figures like Recon Ironhide, Dirge, Bludgeon, Armorhide, Skystalker, Mindwipe, Breakdown, Lockdown, Brawn, and Deluxe Ratchet on display. They might namedrop a few figures that'll be available later in the year, maybe some new store exclusives?

I'd like to say I expect something like a press release regarding Powercore Combiners or War for Cybertron toys, but that's not really how things have shaken down at Toyfair. But I could be wrong.

The event is more for retailers, for Hasbro to show up and say, "Yes, Transformers are still selling like gangbusters so please keep buying. Thanks. We out."

We might see Powercore but probably won't see Universe 3.0 although I'm not too sure on their expected release dates.

    I'd assume we'll see:

ROTF NEST stuff, probably most to all remaining in the line

First wave or two of "Power Core Combiners"

    "War for Cybertron" game toys

Remaining Animated toys IF Hasbro is still shopping around for retailers to carry them.

I wouldn't bet either way on the next Classiverse line. Depends on a lot of things, especially since we haven't seen thing one on them yet.

I've got my fingers crossed that we might see some things that are not movie related.

As tight as they have been on information about the new cartoon and some other information it could be Bot Con before we get to see the really cool stuff.

Seeing as War for Cybertron and Powercore are already leaked out, I am sure we will.

Actually it was. Check the Q&A from last month. They mentioned the "heritage figures" being G1 centric or something like that, and that Rhinox was not in the cards.

As for Toyfair announcements, I'm not expecting anything. All the good stuff will probably be saved and shown at Botcon.

I'm just hoping some of the remaining Animated figures will be on display with release dates and possibly what stores will carry them (assuming they are exclusives). Beyond that, I'd be surprised if there was much of anything we didn't already know about (think Leader class Starscream, and that ginormous BB figure).

Personally, I'm hoping they reveal most of the remaining RotF figures, and the beginings of the PCC's, and at least a mention of the TF Generations line.

Looking threw them, is this the one you're thinking of?

    Parry Game Preserve
They do mention "heritage" characters, but say nothing about Rhinox.

All I care about is whether or not Classicverse will continue (YES I realize they said it wouldn't be called 'Universe'). I don't care if we SEE anything just a confirmation is all I need.

Hasbro's already said, several times for that matter, that Universe will be continuing this fall under a new name. Recently revealed information hints at it being a TF Generations line.

well i hope that there isnt much in the nest line to be honest

im hopeing that the power core and the new cartoon has something to do with each other
(i dont want to many toys comeing out at once i set a 100 aside a week for tfs and thats not enough some times)

im thinking animated has done its run

im hopeing that the toys from the game are part of the new classics line and that they do not go over deluxe for the character expcept for tryptacon and omagesurpream

ummm when is the toy fair ?

I've read their statements, my post was mainly pointed toward the list of items that was frontpaged, in which nothing was mentioned about the continuation of updated G1 characters. I realize the War For Cybertron toys were connected with a 'Generations' tagline but nothing was said beyong that. My fingers are crossed that will be the new 'Universe' line but until they explicitly say so I'm not going to go by internet rumors or wishful thinking. (and hell, if if they DO explicitly state something doesn't mean it's going to happen)
