    Toy identification -> Overlord

    Hi,
I received quite a huge transformers for Xmas when I was young (that's mean between 1988 and 1994).
I played a lot with this one but I don't know the character name nether the real date.
    Please help me :)

I know that it's a HASBRO TAKARA 1988 and should be a decepticons.

Pictures are there (I know, it's not so good pictures (only the robot's back) but hope it's enough...)

Wow, an ID thread with an actual find! It's kind of like a 2005 version of Antique Roadshow. ^_^

Yes it is an Overlord !!! Overlord (1988) - Destron Ambassador of Destruction - www.tfu.info
    Thanks so much for info
What do you mean by it worst a lot of money? How much?
For myself it was a great toy that I received from my parents in France!!!
So it should be in 1992. (I was 6yo)

In fact I was thinking about this previous week when I was in Singapore with a friend that is a great collector ... I'll give it to her I think.

Yes sir, I've got micromasters (the one that you said), that's so great.
I think that it's two black TFs that combine in a small jet like overlord... I'm not in France so I can't tell exactly what I've got. I'll do this in march! I'll ask for more pictures if you wants.
I didn't know a week ago that my toys was collectible transformers, it was just very well thought toys.
As I said, I'll give it to my friend until I'll have kids that can play with it.

I'm really happy. Look at my next post, I've found details about micromasters on the pic

Are powermasters rare? What the difference between powermasters and micromasters?

    In my memory, I've got 3 times 2 small TFs. I've got Fireshot (1990), Direct-Hit (1990), Half-Track (1990), Meltdown (1990), Power Punch (1990), and Vanquish (1990). It should be a pack.

For the aircraft that is not easy to see on pics:

Ok so I've got 4 (complete?) parts !! enjoy

Powermasters are the little figures that turn into his engines, one of them (Mega) is in the plane's cockpit. I don't see the other one (Giga) in the pics. If you TF him, you need to either insert the PM's into their slots to unlock his TFmation, or press the tabs they unlock with a finger. I recommend the finger method as it puts less stress on the PM's.

Your Overlord is almost complete, only things I don't see are Giga, the tank's orange canopy, and the three missiles for the big gun. Those missiles are the same as Metroplex's though, so they're easy to pick up.

A boxed complete one sold on ebay UK for $325 recently, he's one of few TF's that seem to be cheaper over here!

    Thank you for explanations.
I'm sure that I've got at least one of powermasters needed. I remember that it's possible to fold them and insert them in specific areas as mentioned.
I think that I don't have missiles anymore :s (I've to check) and same for the tank's canopy :/.
