    I don' have any pictures

    but I'm trying remember a toy line from the 80s

    It was matchbox scale and the cars had weapons. I remember there was a helicopter launcher.

    so does anyone remember a helicopter that would hold armed cars, and would launch them out the front or from side pods?

    Are you thinking of Hot Wheels Road Wars from the 90's? It was like Mad Max/Hot Wheels and tiny figures (think smaller than powermasters) and they had a statue of Liberty Playset and a big transport helicopter...

    Any other details that you remember?

    I am pretty sure it was road wars. I really only remember the helicopter car launcher, which I cannot find pictures of.

    anyone remember the stompers helicopter ? you could load a stomper into its belly and the wheels would turn the rotor on top.

    Ok, glad it was one of the lines we metioned.

    I am pretty sure Netkid and I have all of the Road Wars toys that were released including the helicopter. Our helicopter came in the multi-lingual/mexican box. I will see if I can get some stuff together and post a pic of them tonight.
