At a glance though I thought it was a repacked Nitro Zeus with a Megatron headswap.

i kinda figured that's why they slotted him under the dotm labeling. who's to say thundercracker wasn't just one of the many among the legions of decepticons that attacked earth? not his fault the cameras ignored him!

 

Looking at Hasbro version and Takara versions of Studio Series, I really don't see any difference.
