Oh my god yes!!

 

It's amazing that this is a stock figure. The paintjob sells it, and the sculpt is delicious. Grims may be the stand out figure of the line so far.

Is it confirmed whether or not Grimlock's mace is removable?

 

70CM? 70?!?!? I demand no less than 80CM, plus an interchangeable right hand, and giant death mace!!!

 

The dino mode still looks awkward and not very good especially with the really long legs, but damn that bot mode more than makes up for it. He looks incredible in robot mode.

I DEMAND AN AUTOMATIC TRANSFORMATION!

 

Looking at the GCrations Grimlock, to be honest their grimly looks like CHUG while Hasbro's look like an actual MPM.

 

I'm loving the liberal use of metallic paint here. I'm perplexed why some figures like Jazz and Grimlock have amazing paint apps whereas figures like Stinger are lacking.

 

Major difference between the two being that this one might actually come out.

 

This just makes me want him even more. With the excellent and accurate paint apps, I think the figures I want to see most now are new versions of the other Dinobots. While Scorn could do with being a leader, I’ll happily take the voyager repainted like this (but in his rusty colour, of course) and a new voyager Slug and Strafe with their on screen colours applied in this way. Seriously, they’d make such an awesome display

 

I really hope the dino legs are mistransformed in those pictures and there's a way to make them digitigrade.

 

Couple of questions, he has two heads? A fake one that turns into the shoulder and the alt mode one? And what about his mace thing?

 

just not a fan of the two full head tops. Doesn't make sense to me.

He looks amazing, but the T-Rex mode looks weird from some angles. Other than the inaccurate transformation and permanent mace-hand (While omitting his handheld mace), this Grimlock looks absolutely amazing. I don't know if it's more funny or sad how much this figure shits all over both of the AOE toys.

 

First Leader toy I've wanted since DotM.

 

I think this is how they are, like Scorn’s. Though to be fair, the CG model doesn’t have much of a bend at the ankle anyway. There might be a bit of movement in the figures ankles though to get the effect.

 

Best looking leader class figure in a long time in terms of sculpt and looking solid. Now, once he is in hand, I hope everything tabs in well and nothing is floppy.
