I totally missed that the Box set that includes a Powermaster Prime repaint is using the Takara version of the mold with all those sick updates vs the weaksauce US releases mold. Smart move on their part though no doubt there's going to be some peeps mad they spent money on the original release. I've got both the Takara and Hasbro releases but I'm ok with a 3rd version if only because everyone else in the set looks rad.

 

My disappointment in Tidal Wave is made up for with the fact that if I buy him, I get the Takara PMoP for much less than the actual Takara PMoP.

I feel bad for anyone who paid nearly $200 for Carnifex. I have no attachment to the Overlord character from cartoons or comics, but since I'm passing on Sky Shadow, I'll get him.

You sorry barrels of monkey spunk. Now you release the Takara version of Power Master Op in the states. Guess I can pre-order Godbomber now. 

 

I'll admit some minor disappointment with both the Siege on Cybertron and Chaos on Velocitron sets. Nautica does noticeably look a lot like Blurr still and Tidal Wave's colors look a bit off to me, but the first is not a deal-killer, and the latter is why I'm a custom-painter. Everything else is just gorgeous. Magnus Prime is a beautiful US release of an excellent looking Takara figure, Metalhawk looks GORGEOUS, and Fastlane is getting painted into Aileron once I get my hands on that set. I'm not sure how much of everything else I'm going to get, but I will definitely try for Overlord. Windblade looks AMAZING, but even though it's an inferior figure to this new one, I'm satisfied with my Generations Windblade. Topspin and Twin Twist I might get. I don't know. Hasbro, you are bankrupting me.

 

Quite a few handpainted mockups (Overlord, Tidal Wave, Metalhawk, and Seaspray). I think Overlord just has Black Shadows titan master. Looks fantastic though

 

Still not sure if I will get Nautica. Don't want to invest in yet another Blurr with just a couple of added rotors.

Twin Twist is a remould of an already solid figure so definitely getting him.

Getting Octane and passing on Blitzwing, the last figure is good enough.

Overlord looks solid, will get it.

Metalhawk is a nice repaint, tempted.

Is Quickswitch a remould?

Pounce is a Legends class figure right? That means no Tigatron remould I guess.

Fastlane looks nice.

 

Sad I won't be able to get this Powermaster Optimus.

Windblade looks eh. Better than the last attempts, but really the design just doesn't lend itself to decent toys. You'll always have a big ol' pair of boots hanging out back on the jet.

 

I\'m the only one who is disappointed that Tidal Wave doesn\'t have his toy colors, am I?  Regardless these are all amazing.
