Out of everything shown at Toy Fair so far I'm only interested in RID Arcee. She looks nifty.

 

Arcee still not the Arcee i want, i want the more accurate FE Version (i'll stil lget RID arcee)

 

Ok here we go:

Prime Cyberverse stuff and Optimus Maximus: Meh

RID Arcee: wings are obviously mistransformed. Still hope that gun separates. I like how it looks and i have the FE

RID Hotshot: This toy has made me want the RID bumblebee mold. it looks really nifty.

RID voyager Bulkhead: wow, just wow. People, get the FE if you can. This bulkhead doesnt look bad, but the chest looks so mistransformed and i dont like that lump of plastic the mace sits on in either mode. Honestly, its like it was designed by a team who's never seen the show and has only seen the animation model.

RID voyager Starscream: Yes, the deluxe is stellar. While i dont know what's going on with the chest panels here (they seem to be sitting a bit high) and the weapon on his left leg and that chunk of plastic on his right arm both seems doofy and ugly as crap, i kinda like how he looks overall quite a bit. May pick him up.

RID Knockout: Still mistransformed, hell even the shoulders are lower than they should be this time. That being said, i want this toy bad.

RID Ratchet: love it, bought on sight.

Prime Video Game: If it doesnt suck for the 3ds, i'll get it.

 

Not liking the lack of yellow rims on Knock Out. Plus the lack of white in his vehicle mode. Those aren't exactly things you can touch up with a silver sharpie. The engineering of the mold looks great though, can't wait to see it properly transformed. That Bulkhead though... he looks like the long-lost green cousin of DOTM Leadfoot, as far as build goes. He looks less like a bulky warrior type and more like he has a beer belly. Arcee looks great though!

This version the RID version, is more accurate. It's more accurate than the FE version in terms of paint job, chest armor, wing placement, AND scale.

 

Yep, I can see my money is going to the FOC line. And there are no words for poor Bulkhead.

 

Voyager Starscream looks good from those photos, but I'll hold off in hope of a later repaint (or Takara version) that doesn't go with the transluscent light-up thingy.

 

Arcee is bought.

It would of been better for them not to of had FE. It mostly just spoiled people with how good a Transformer could be. Now that we're going into the normal Prime line people can't help but think of FE. Those Microns would of been a definite improvement on what I think of them though. I'll still try to buy the Prime line toys. I really wonder what our opinion on these would be without the idea of FE over our heads.

 

your opinion, but for me FE is better looking than RID (it goes for Every single figure)!

Hey Hasbro, I'm going to be saving HUNDREDS of dollars I'm not giving you due to the First Edition fiasco. These toys look like CRAP, which makes the aforementioned FE fiasco even more bizarre.

And no, "late 2012" is not good enough for me to release the FE toys.

 

Okay, these shots made me bite the bullet and order the Takara Bulkhead and deluxe Starscream. That Bulkhead looks like a pile of shit. Ugh, I want to vomit. Starscream in the pictures doesn't look awful but a number of things just rub me wrong; the clear forearm, the chest (though it's probably mistransformed), the kibble on the legs. And while I generally would prefer Starscream to be big since he's supposed to be a jet... well a LOT of people LOVE that First Edition Starscream mold. So some nagging flaws in the voyager against a mold people are professing love for; I jumped in.

Bulkhead though... Kill it with fire!

No point. The kind of game they'd make for the Wii won't sell to the PS3 demographic.

They confirmed a release date?

 

A Transformers Prime Game? Have we known about this?
