It's better not to be excited, so that any minor news will at least be a surprise.

Well, if it's anything like the KREO commercials, that show would rock.

Look, I know we sometimes refer to collecting TF's as getting our plastic crack fix, but we're not serious about it.

Well, I think we're not serious about it.

It would give me an excuse to buy them, at any rate. I like how they look, but at a little over $10 for the typical sets I prefer the actual TF figures that don't require completely rebuilding the figure to transform.

Also: Generations to become a Hasbro Toystore exclusive line.

Hasbro ToyStore to continue business as normal otherwise.

We saw new things in 2011 (TF3's big debut) and 2010 (Generations, including Drift), so I see no reason to lower hopes. I'm not expecting the full FoC reveal, but new Prime and Generations (or its replacement) are probable.

I think there is a decent chance that we see quite a bit of new stuff, given that the intent of Toy Fair is to show product to retailers for up to and including the upcoming Holiday Season. I think it is not inconceivable that we could see, for example, toys of new characters from Season 2 of Prime or perhaps some figures from the new video game (if they actually do a toyline for it). Lastly, IF there is some sort of "big-ticket item" (IE the rumored Combaticons/Bruticus combiner figure), I think we could see it here, given that Hasbro would want to show that type of figure to retailers as soon as possible.

What I find kind of unusual is that there have been basically zero leaks of upcoming figures. This time last year we had already seen, what, at least 6-7 new figures and prior to Toyfair, pretty much half of what they had at the show. I wonder what happened? From what little I know, it is very difficult to stop leaks....?

Oh well, interesting times. I am looking forward to seeing some new stuff at Toyfair at the latest and hopefully, maybe, a little bit sooner ;) .

I'm curious, why would you want that?

Because anything that remotely hints at poor distribution of Generations results in mass persecution complex, and HTS couldn't run an artfarm.

Oh yeah, in retrospect it was kinda obvious. It's just that I've never dealt with HTS, and I have seen people seriously want to have "more exclusive" things for whatever reason.

I think this year's Toyfair will be much better than last years.

I can see us getting pictures of new Prime figures or at least finished photos of the prototypes we saw last year.

I think we will hear news about the return of Generations and the FoC line.

I'm not saying any of this with much confidence because I am not sure how much weight Hasbro puts in to Toyfair and how much they put in to Botcon.

    I figure maybe we'll see/get news on:

    -Upcoming Kreos
    -Movie trilogy line
    -TF: Prime

I would love to see some teaser stuff for FOC, but I'm not expecting it this early. More likely for SDCC.

I'll collect from all 3 of the above lines though, so I would still be content with those three.
