How many times when you transform the toy before some part fails and you can't put it back together? None of my toy collection has done this. Just wondering before it does. Knock on wood.

he probably meant they fell apart on him as he transformed them, like you asked.

The magic number is 78 times. You're all good until 77 then BOOM, busted tab/popped spring SADNESS AND TEARS.

Honestly, are you really asking for a number? I've had toys break on me right out of the package, and others fall of shelves multiple times over the years without any damage. There is no answer to this question. Therefore, mods, please close thread ;)

Sadly, for my Alternity Megatron (Black Diamond... totally badass), it was only a few times. Those brake lights are in a BAAAAAD place for transformation.

From the title, I thought this had something to do with that Mike Mozart guy from Youtube...

Anyways, I only TF my toys once in a while, so I don't have to worry about them falling apart anytime soon.

there is no set number. FATE likes to toy with us mere mortals...keep us guessing, make us wait till said toy is a 300 dollar collectible on eBay because of rumors of a 3rd party project, etc.

when i first bought my TFU Prowl, everything came off as i transformed him. i know it was to keep the toy from breaking, but "popoffitis" isn't an ailment i want for such cool figures.

On my TFU Blades, his backpack comes off (mainly because i keep forgetting not to flip it so far back.) it's just annoying putting that piece back on.

TFA Bumblebee. The number was 1, and it sucked. Day one of the release - fresh off the pallett, fresh out of the sealed carton asst. -- The leg/thigh panel broke instantly.
I think they may have adjusted the mold, because the Elite Guard version was ALOT sturdier in the leg/thigh panel dept.

    YouTube - gold plastic syndrome

That third time always gets ya.

It depends on a ton of variables that are way too complex to even begin to guesstimate.

The worst one ever was Animated voyager Megatron. I transformed him into bot mode, held him up to look at him and his leg just fell right out of it's socket. It was/is the worst case of quality control I've ever experienced from a TF.

The animated toys I've own have loose easily popped out joints but none of them broke...so far.

I'm being extra careful but there are time when starscream's hands pop right off, just by moving it =(

In all my 20+ years of transforming, i've never once broken one. I guess because I mostly stick with G1 stuff. I don't like flimsy looking TF's, though the ROTF line has suckered me in.
