    Hey everyone, Quick question.

I have a lot of tf toy boxes and I dont want to throw them away. What should I do with them? They are taking up a lot of space.....Any ideas or what do you all do?

You could unflap and flatten them, they might take up less space that way.

Are there any archives for packaging or professional graphic art that would take them off your hands? If not, your choices are store them or throw them out, and not really anything else. People who want packages are usually people who keep their figures inside them.

Get a storage locker, which will then stymie some intrepid storage warrior when you abandon it years from now?

If it's cardback, then throw them away but it depends on what boxes you have. If it's third party or MPs then keep it since it's really fancy packaging.

You should keep the cards, but throw the bubble out.

    My opinion, anyway.

I keep any and all 3rd party packages/blisters/boxes whole, retail stuff (deluxes) cut off the bubble and keep the cardback, file them in a plastic tote, wide enough for them to fit standing up so I can flip through them and add to series as needed. I used to keep anything above that (voyager, leader, supreme etc) whole till the cubby hole in the attic ran out of space. Now I just dispose of those unless it is something "special" Amazon Unicron, TRU Hot Rod...

Keep the 3rd party, the expensive ones like Masterpiece, and the ones that are special to you, other than that throw them out, TF's are worth the same to us all in packaging or out.

But I can't speak for the MISB Collectors, whats the joy in collecting TF's without playing with them a little

i keep my boxes, but throw out all the plastic inserts/bubbles. i store the boxes within other larger boxes- like i put as many as 10 voyagers inside the Star Wars Imperial Shuttle's box, and did so with the Big AT-AT, Big Mil. Falcon boxes and other large items.
i keep the card backs in a filing cabinet, and the instructions are kept in a plastic rolling cart with other accessories.

I offer them FREE on my Junkion Exchange, and hope someone takes them off my hands! A while back, a guy from Craigslist gleefully took every box I had. But now they're piling up again.

Difficult not to throw the boxes since they are occupying the space, maybe you may wish to throw the boxes for those figures that you don't really like
