my comcast on demand has total meldown as the new one instead of last weeks dinobots episode,so it looks like they screwed it up right out of the gate and on demand is now two weeks behind.

just finished it.very cool episode,no mention or sight of megatrons head in the lab,so i would put this episode right were it should be,before the dinobot episode.thinking about even more it kinda fits better right after the opening episodes,it's mostly about the autobots new role as protectors of the city.no megatron sub-plot,not one but two "human" villians, both very cool designs.

i'll bet those fans that dont have on demand or something similar are m.f.-ing cartoon network now.

I'm sure there will be a deeper discussion on this when a thread is made for it, but if done the way I think they are doing it, the human bad guys in this show are a great mechanism for showing how badass the decepticons will be when they get here. It's like a really cool quiet before the storm, not that the Autobots are having it easy, but they are definitely dealing with fodder when compared to what they pray won't come to earth.

I have the episode and going to watch it. I can't torrent it, but I can give you spoilers in about thirty minutes.

    Spoilers ahoy!
The Autobots attempt to learn more about Earth culture, so they turn to TV. They watch Prothemus (sp?) Black, who advertises his new "biotechnology steroids", that can increase strength and height. To test his creation, he makes a wrestling match to prove it, so a fight between a steroid guy and Bumblebee (with Sari in the background) happens. Unfortunately, the fight goes out of control, and Mr. Black, who was trying to sell his product to Captain Fanzone for a super army of police, gets into severe trouble with his sponsors and the police. Angry, he finds some of Bumblebee's fluid from the fight with the steroid guy and engineers it so he can replace Sumdac robots with his V2 steroids. Again, things go wrong, and the engineered liquid explodes and transforms him into Meltdown. Then he goes to confront Professor Sumdac, sabotaging his new super police robot, then going after the big cheese himself. However, the Autobots, finding the liquid's nature- able to dissolve ANYTHING- realizes Sumdac's robot was sabotaged, not a malfunction, and goes to protect Sumdac. Anyway, the tower is under attack as Meltdown goes to kill "the nerd", and goes defensive, setting a force field. Only Bumblebee could get in, and rescues Sumdac while Sari disables the force field. The Autobots then defeat Meltdown by using the force field against him, while Bumblebee brags that being small, he still has skills.

In the end, can't say I like this episode....
