My Powerglide Rattler needs someone to fight, so I'm giving him the Toss'n'Cross.

A bridgelayer is probably the most un-interesting tank, but I love them. The idea of a portable bridge just seems neat to me. GIJoe had a toy called the Toss'n'Cross, driven by Toll Booth. I plan on making thebot form to have some throwbacks to Toll Booth's color scheme.

I mentiond this idea in the GD a few months ago, but never thought much more about it because I couldn't find a model that I liked, well I finally found one. It came in today and I was still unsure about how well it would work with Dropshot. I'm really excited because I think its going to end up working perfectly. I only have one half of the bridge built (and its really only the shell), but you get the idea from the pictures. I think I'm going to incorporate his feet into the mechanism that places the bridge.

This is one of two (maybe three) GI Joe crossovers I'm doing. This one will require the most modifications, I think the others will be mostly a straight repaint. The Rattler will finally get some company.

I agree. I've seen these tanks before, and though they're not necessarily for combat, they're cool looking. yours need the right paint scheme though. good luck...

    Genius!

Hasbro take note! These concepts work and are very feasible ;)

I remember you talking about wanting to do this. Happy to see you finally found what you needed to make it so.

He does look good already in the WIP stage, so I know he'll be killer once done.

I like the idea of having the feet as the mechanism that places the bridge, that should work, and look great. Will the bridge pieces become weapons? Or will you find a way to incorporate them into the TF sequence?

Not sure yet. I thought about making them some kind of shield or sword type thing. Still thinking about it

I was just messing with the transformation, trying to get more clearance on the top.

I'm glad you found the parts you need for this. Looks like you got a good thing going here. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the feet

very creative!...we crossed a couple of blown bridges using "tanks" just like that. IMO the "bridge" needs to be a little wider but awesome idea.

Well its only 1/2 of the bridge so far, the final bridge will be twice as wide, at least.
