My computer died back in march just as this was coming along. I finally have access to a computer powerful enough for 3D studio again and have picked back up on it...

Nice work. Now when I look back on that design I am amused by how many more windows the later designs for Star Trek had. I suppose both have good and bad points depending on how bad your agoraphobia is.

Looking very good. I can see you're further along with your Enterprise than I am.
I do have a question for you about your materials; I can see the small hull plating on the ship; what did you do, to get that effect, if I may ask?

It's a specular map made in photoshop, there is also a slight hint of the tiles on the main color map. All of it is then texture mapped onto the ship.

Finished the warp nacelles today, I'm not sure if I'm happy with the paneling yet, but I can fix that easily.

Looking good - the lighting on the revised nacelles is fantastic. For what it's worth, the panelling looks fine on my monitor; barely visible, but there.

The texture maps are finished, the lighting is more or less done, I just need to work on some material settings. She looks very "plastic" in full light.

Once I get that fixed, I'll do some high-res beauty renders and a few desktops...
