Day 2 was excellent, can't wait for tomorrow's now. SPOILERS AHOY! * Gwen was lethal with a fire extinguisher. Me likey * So Jack can survive being blown to bits AND having his lungs filled with concrete? I think he needs to fight Wolverine. * Ianto saves me the day! * On that note, Ianto's brother in law is win. * Something tells me Lois will end up joining Torchwood, that is if she makes it out of this alive. * Okay so who was the creepy guy at the end? I look forward to seeing who the 456 are, but as with most Torchwood aliens I expect it to be anti-climatic. I hope I'm wrong. Also....am I the only one doing BB style voice overs everytime "day ..." appears on screen?
Ok so it's Day 3 I liked it Spoiler I'm probably wrong but I'm guessing the 456 are Macra And tonight my favourite line was Spoiler Who's The Queer ?
I know there was the Cyberwoman, but I don't think Torchwood are going to use Who aliens to be honest. Especially not obscure classic ones.
I've been really surprised by this weeks mini series. I wasn't a fan of the first two full series, but this one has really grabbed me. I get a kind of Quatermass/John Wyndham vibe from the story too. I just hope the stroy's ending is as strong as the rest of the show has been. ...and yeah, that spoiler above was quite the shocker.
Where is the Doctor when you need him? Heck Sarah Jane would have called in K-9 to deal with this, and Jack has her phone number. But yeah so far this has been the best Torchwood episodes so far. But you'd think a guy that old and from the future would have better contingency plans. Weapons hidden around London, a Doctor signal, something.
I just finished watching the fourth episode of the series (I'm in the States, and rely on Quicksilverscreen's TV forums to get my BBC fixes). All I have to say is 'wow'. Spoiler Killing off another team member 4 episodes into a series after they killed off two other members? -That was unexpected. And what was that about Spoiler Clem? "The Remnant will be disconnected"? I hope they explain that to us, and see how that comes to play into the finale... And what about the future? Will Spoiler Gwen remain with Torchwood now that Spoiler she's pregnant? How will that come into play with her being part of Torchwood? Will Jack refuse her, as the last 'surviving' member of the (at least most) current team? Will Torchwood start from scratch, or will we still have Gwen to help keep Jack anchored? -Itching to see the finale, but saddened to see everything he's seen so far... Even then, how long do we have to wait until the next series starts?
Just finished watching "Day 4." Totally didn't see that coming. That certainly set up for an interesting "Day 5." And now Spoiler they've made Jack angry. You won't like him when he's angry.
