I'm pretty intrigued. Torchwood didn't immediately grab me, but it grew on me during the 2nd series and this looks pretty damn good.

This looks really good. Just finished Season 2 and it was amazing. I'm sure this will blow away audiences. The children seem downright creepy in the trailer, and constantly hearing "they're back" is making me pumped even more.

     :bay

Doesn't look like too much/any content (you know what I mean! :lol ) this season, looks like it'll be post-watershed for violence, (That corpse is DANG freaky). I can take violence.

From what I can guess, 'they' might be the baddies from Sleeper, maybe?

I can't wait. I'm looking forward to Torchwood far more than Doctor Who this year.

Could these be the "Aliens" that Jack is always talking about when he's mentioning his past?
(Y'know, the ones that killed his brother in the flash backs)

I never thought I'd say it, but so am I. Torchwood season 1 was awful, but season 2 was a vast improvement.

Looks pretty good, I'll be watching.
Stupid question, is 'Children of Earth' the entire 2009 series?

I mean, that sounds awesome to me, have one story told over a series, but make it a really good story.

Yes, it's the whole 2009 thing.

Or at least most of 2009.

Time to dig up the old thread.

Not a bad opening at all, looks like its going to get interesting.
Lowpoint: the welsh jokes. I dont know what to make of them, they're either hilarious or atrocious :lol

going over this, i wont download it till it finishes but i get the impression that the corpse is Captain Jack after they dispose of him by blowing him up. the skeleton in the bag would have been found on the site and later on the corpse screaming would be Jack when there is enough of him to actually wake up. just my thoughts but will be interesting to keep tabs on this.

Agreed. I was following "The Sarah Jane Adventures" earlier and that was meh, and "Doctor Who" this year is so fractured that it is hard to get into (though the Christmas Special blew my mind), so all my hope lies in "Torchwood" this year.

I had completely forgotten about this. Thanks for reviving the thread, gonna have to search the internet for it now. Can't wait to see it!

The story so far seems to be very well written and I like the little hints they are dropping about Jack's past.
