Alright this guy part-forms like a Voltron toy and has more magnets in him than a MRI machine (just kiddin' folks!), but he turned out pretty cool. Dare I say Classics\Henkei on these? (that's what I intend for them to be in my collection anyhow!) Just started working on him earlier today and this is where I've gotten so far. Also experimenting with a different style of shooting pics. I wanted a Topspin for my Wreckers collection so I made one (though he does kinda resemble a WFC Seeker as well.......), and a Twin Twist that still being built, but thought I'd post these up anyhow. The WFC Megs mold lends itself to all kinds of creativity and cool characters and this guys no exception! Still need to paint him up and finish the Twin Twist as well, so more to come!
Why thank you kind sir! And I have some money for you now. It looks like you passed "GO", and you may collect $300 (by the way, you're the race car.......I just love that game!)
What a coincidence, I was actually messing with my WFC Megs to make a Top Spin and Twin Twist. Can't wait to see how this goes.
wow, this topspin is sooo very Classics Movie Dreadwing-like in vehicle mode! i wonder if you can make a WFC Hooligan out of that guy.
Thanks guys! Ha! I just noticed that the chestpiece/top of the jet (Generations Thrust booster) the turbine actually "spins". That's pretty cool, hence the name- "top" and "spin"! Neat! (love it when I find stuff like this)
i am actually more excited about the twintwist than the topspin lol. i loved autbotx23's twintwist and can't wait to see how your one turns out =) i will be following with interest ^^
Hey, thanks again ya'll. Yeah, the Twin Twist is gonna be GREAT! Currently working on his drills and trying to get the magnet configuration just right. I think I'm gonna have to hit Earl up for some good ol' fashioned custom know how! Having alot of fun with these guys right now. @ gargunkle - For the TopSpin, it was a classics Sunstreaker head. I just unscrewed the 2 halves of the head, took it apart, removed the "ear thingies" on the side of the head and thier springs from the inside, put it back together and filled in the holes with apoxie sculpt-painted black. For Twin Twist, I used the classics Red Alert head and simply dremeled off the ear antennae thingies on the sides.
Thanks Zac! Aprreciate it man. Just posted a few pics where I've added a little color. The final piece will have several shades of blues, grays, and whites for a very G1 color scheme.
First post updated with more WIP pics. Experimenting with different shades of blue and grey with him. The chestpiece will be white as pere his G1 look. Lots more paint apps to come, stay tuned.....
