Considering I never cared for the UK version of the show, all I really wanna know is how this will effect the US version? Has it ended as well or is it just on hiatus? There hasn't been any new episodes in a while.

Cool. I would actually have a reason to watch Amazon Prime.

Love how when James and Richard hosted the last show featuring unaired segments, it was an empty studio with a giant elephant statue in the back. The literal elephant in the room. They never brought up the incident, Jeremy, or the elephant. I love those guys.

Oddly enough, I'm binge watching Top Gear on HULU today.....

Somehow it starts with season 2, of course that's when Captain Slow first appeared..... I noticed that for the American Top Gear they have changed the theme to "Jessica" for most of season 2!

I just hope they continue to license great music for each segment, that really help set the show apart from other car shows and give it a sense of gravitas.

Ha, yeah. It's always 'spot that movie soundtrack!' around mine when we watch the show.

The Apache, the Lotus and Motorhead is still one of the greatest things ever.

Oh! New news everybody! Matt LeBlanc has been confirmed as a new Top Gear presenter! This is actually brilliant news I think, because he could be very good.

I have to wonder if he might be a bit dull, (he seemed a bit... too sedate in his 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' bit) but he could just do it as Joey Tribiani and it'd work.

    I'm not enthused.

I saw one of the re-packaged Top Gear Races, hosted by him... and he was pretty boring.

I'm just glad they added someone for Evans to play off of. Top Gear existed before Clarkson, May, and Hammond, but it's their rapport that made it even more popular.

New Top Gear aired last night!

Y'know what? It's not bad at all. Surprisingly Matt LeBlanc was awesome, and surprisingly Chris Evans less so. Basically I felt that Evans was too aware of the previous hosts and he just wasn't relaxed. Still it's just the first episode so he has time to settle in.

But yeah, Matt LeBlanc! Funny, charming, and his Aeriel... thing segment was very good. Plus he has a great sense of humour and is a great sport.
