Did any one catch the new episode that was just on? Also Spoilers Now that Michael Schuumacer(SP?) has been revealed as the Stig.Who thinks there might be a new Stig this series?
I think the Stig is whichever professional race car driver is available for that weeks filming. Sometimes he seems more technical, other times more aggressive. Doesn't really matter, its a fun show anyway.
Top Gear is back!! (major spoiler) Top Gear is finally back for its 13th season and what an episode it was! I totally didn't expect the Stig to reveal its identity!! XD
That was a brilliant episode. One of the best, I think. That easily goes on as one of my top 3 races they've done. I already like it more than any other races they've done outside Europe.
I missed it. I washaving dinner at the time, and had a timer on my freeview digibox... anyway, when I got to the Dbox it had frozen. So I unplugged it and plugged it in again, it started up... and then it started recording the last 7 minutes of Top Gear. Shit. Thankfully the show is repeated on Friday, but this time I'm gonna nursemaid the Dbox. If it continues to flake out on me the Dbox is out and an Sky HD box might be in. Grrr. Oh and Schumacher as the Stig? True or not?!? I say not personally.
If he is the Stig, the Stig will "Die" again and we will move on to Stig 3. Personally I say he is not the Stig. He looks too small to be Stiggie, the suit is different and they brought Schumacher in because he owns that Ferrari and that was the only way they could get one on the track to test. Oh and I am a HUGE Top Gear fan, I download the episodes as soon as they hit the net so I don't have to wait 2 years for an edited version to air here.

The black FXX is definitely Schu's own car, and the only black one iirc. I can see him being the Stig, although it's been confirmed that there have been different Stigs for certain cars, the Renault F1 was Heikki Kovaleinen driving, for example. If he is then it's great as the man is a legend.
Hmmm. I don't imagine the Stig getting a funeral. *But I can totally imagine him being eaten by a dinosaur.
its generally assumed there have been 7 or 8 people who have worn the stig costume by now, most being past F1 driver or testers e.g perry mcarthy and ben collins and then other random people like the guy who drove the snowmobile of the ski jump slope, as for how long schumacher has been or was the stig is hard to say although it was pretty much definatly him in that ferrari, as this series was filmed before the current F1 season really began he could be the stig for the rest of this season
From what I've been told, it's most likely not been Schumacher for the majority of White Stig's lifespan. Something about the F1 practices clashing with when Top Gear is filmed.
I've heard of this show once, because they had David Tennant on. It looks OK, my friend Josh watches it though.
