Revising my much older post: (not necessarily in order) Classics Voyager Armada Deluxe G2 Laser Prime 20th Anniversary (Masterpiece) Prime Voyager Animated Prime
1. Classics/Henkei OP: Just about everything you could ask for in a Prime. I don't mind the arm kibble much, but my only knock on the figure would be it's lack of a trailer. Thank you FansProject. 2. Masterpiece OP: I only own the DVD Prime myself, but the toy is just about at the top of everyone else's list for a reason. It's great. Again, my only knock on the figure would be that it's bigger than I would prefer. I understand the engineering, but now THS and iGear(?) have shown that the toy could be made smaller. But that's just me. It's huge. And not in scale with anything else I have. Really, I find it best as a display piece. Or rather the BEST display piece. 3. G1 OP. Had it as a kid, have the 25th Anniversary version now. The toy is still awesome. Plus the whole nostalgia thing. The reason I have it down at 3 on my list is because everything I ever wanted out of G1 Prime we eventually got out of the two previous Primes. 4. Revoltech Convoy. Yeah. All the awesomeness out of the Revoltech line on a toy with windshields for pecs. 5. Going to go with RotF Leader Prime here. That was one toy certainly worth staying up until 2am for. And while I'm not necessarily a fan of the movie design aesthetic, stick this sucker next to MP Prime and you really see that the overall design of OP didn't stray far at all from what we classically picture as Optimus Prime.

Out of the ones that I actually have. In no particular order. RID Cybertron Animated Cybertron Mode Classics Big Convoy
1. Powermaster Prime. For me, this guy was my first prime and has lots of nostalgia. Plus, even though he's brickish, at the time that was fine and it was nice having an actualy imposing Prime toy. 2. Cybertron Prime. This guy could almost pass for a Powermaster Prime update. He looks great all around, and is actually great to fiddle with to. 3. MP Prime. Ok, well, he had to make the list. 4. ROTF Leader Prime. Good representation with nice complexity and size for the price. 5. G1! Even though I didn't have him as a kid, I wanted it, and it will always be nostalgic. Beyond that, some of my favorites are Classics, G2 Laser Prime, and THS 01 and 02.
