1. MP3 Player Soundwave - Perfect updated version of my favorite Con. You can't ask for a better TF than one that is not only faithful to the original but got features that are functional. 2. MP-5 Megatron - Always wanted a G1 Meg that don't have trigger for crotch. Happy that people at TakaraTomy finally made it. 3. Tit Rodimus - Still want Tit Fallen and Magnus but for me it's want G1 Rodimus Prime should have been. 4. Movie deluxe Blackout - One of the more movie accurate toy. Just wish it's Leader class. 5. Leader Megatron / Leader Brawl - own both and they rock. If I had Botcon exclusive Seekers they'd be on this list. Sigh.
Just started collecting again this year but here what mine are: 20th Prime: Never got a G1 prime as a kid (glad too! as I would have been pissed that it looked nothing like the toon, even as a kid!!!) What can I say? After this came out, all other primes before him that were 18 wheeler alt modes was put to death!!! I barely got him last week so this guy is king of the shelf right now and will co-rule when I get a MP Megatron, forever! Definitive Optimus Prime! (I'll get the trailer eventually) RID Prime: The 1st prime I ever got!!! Lost it way back but got another a few weeks ago. Loved the idea of a fire truck prime! And real fun to play with. RID Ultra Magnus: My first ever UM! Got him recently and for the 1st time could form Omega Prime... Love the fact that this UM is NOT a repaint, but completely unique! (The design of both are amazing and innovative, especially as they also combine! Brilliant!) Tit. Rodimus: When I saw the alt mode I was crazy for it! Any other version of R. Prime is no longer in my reality! This IMO is the definitive version of Rodimus Prime. Classics BB (well I got CJ, but we can pretend til i find BB!) Again, definitive! Never has a BB toy come so close (other versions never really even tried!!!) to the essence of the toon! Plus he has front seats and cool accessory! Classics Grimlock: Never really liked Grimlock. Ive passed on ALL versions of him in the past. This was the 1st Grim that I WANTED. And this as a bad mutha! The asymetrical design elements with any TF I like (non-BW, that is). Great toy, mean lookin too! Classics Hot Rod: Definitive! The alt mode is almost a twin of the original, but way cooler. Bot mode is awesome too! Posability!!! Love the toy! Classics Mirage: Definitive! Sure people say hes a lil frail... I think it suits him very well. Considering his bio/tech specs, I think this slender version is a better match than any other. Very ninja like to me for some reason, perfect for all that recon he does! Nice way of implimenting gim gun too! Finally, movie Arcee: Best female TF bot design yet (overall). An improvement on the much loved E. arcee imo, though that toy set the bar! The shape of the bot mode is very feminine. I appreciate the new direction they went with the head and like it alot, but I would have liked one closer to E. arcee. Otherwise no complaints. The implimentation of the gun and missle was very nice, me likey! BEst motorcycle TF mold ever! Thats the best for now

In no particular order -G1 Defensor (Botcon 07!) -SDCC Hotrod -Yamato 1/60 YF-19 -lifesize Legend of Zelda Master Sword and Hylian Shield replicas
So far... Transformers: 1) Movie Leader Prime. Awesome awesome awesome. 2) Classics Jetfire. Totally ace and deserving of all the praise. 3) Actionmaster Charger. So good to finally track this guy down. I had one 15 years ago so it's been a while. 4) G1 Scorponok. Huge and cool. Also missing a few bits and pieces so I've got years of entertainment ahead of me trying to find them all. 5) G1 Slugfest and Overkill. I love cassettes and these guys are some of the best. Combine that with the fact they only cost me about $2 each makes me super happy. Those that didn't quite make the top 5: Punch/Counter-Punch, Cyb Optimus+Wingsaber and RID Sideways/Axer. It's been a good TF year so far. Non-TFs: 1) God of War Kratos figure (flaming chains). 2) Lego Eldorado Fortress. 3) Lego Renegade Runner. That's about it really.
Classics Jetfire - I knew this was going to be my favorite piece this year! It's a nice homage to the G1 version, while using todays look that classics displays so well! Awesome figure! MP-03 Starscream- Traded for this guy even though the color accurate version is coming out soon. Still, an incredibly nice Transformer. The jet mode is nicely detailed, and the F-15 is one of my favorites. Bot mode is nice, and the classic smirk that Starscream has on his face had me sold! He'll be my extra seeker once Skywarp and the other Starscream hit. Kissplay Hot Rodimus- Just a great figure with a great car mode! I loved Alternators Mirage, and this was a nice little repaint with the retooled head. He even has the visor that pulls down over his eyes, and comes with the fishing rod that becomes his weapons/exhaust pipes on his arm. A nice nod to G1 Hot Rod! CC Movie Bumblebee - Found this in KB's rather easily, and was happy to find it. The car mode is nice, and looks cool! Worth getting if you can find it! E-Hobby Road Rage- I've been hunting for the Tracks Red Repaint for a long time, and finally obtained her. A straight up repaint of G1 Tracks, but still one of my favorite molds from G1. I finally have my little red corvette!
I havent bought nearly as many toys this year as I would've liked (and the year still isnt over) but of what I do have, I'll go with 1. MP Megs 2. Classics Jetfire 3. Classics Devastator 4. Bonecrusher 5. Robovision Prime... or maybe Botcon Weirdwolf...
1) MP Megatron...sure he has flaws but he is also awesome. 2) Classics Jetfire. One of the best and most badass Transformers ever. 3) Reissue Perceptor (at Botcon) 4) Concept Camaro Bumblebee 5) Music Label Soundwave
1. Targetmaster Scourge: Now I have all G1 Targetmasters which are one of my favorite G1 lines. 2. Concept Bumblebee: What can I say!! That figure cause me to make a Bumblebee only section in my collection. 3. Fortmax: He is Complete and in great shape. Who would not want him he is a eye catcher and looks great in a collection. 4. MP-05 Megatron: He has no Orange cap, and Sits tall in my Megatron section. I dont think I will ever try to transform him though. 5. Longarm: I just got it yesterday and I am really happy with it. Its looks great in robot or alt mode. He is my second favorite from the movie line of figures
Not in any order: - Dark Crumplezone. I bought this pretty late, and it ended up being my favorite out of the Cybertron line. I could take or leave most Cyber-Key gimmicks, but DC's is cool. I dig the exaggerated gorilla-like proportions in robot mode, because unlike Movie Starscream, the look actually fits the character. - Wreckage. Has its flaws certainly, but I think it represents the best combination of Hasbro's aesthetic with Dreamworks'. His red katar things are awesome, because there's a lot you can do with them...link them together and mount them on the forearm wheels for a spinning lawnmower blade! - Alternators Rodimus. The Ford GT was already my favorite mold out of the Alt line and Rodimus just improves upon it by fixing the floppy chest panel and adding a nifty flip-down visor. - Robo-Vision Optimus Prime. Fits the movie aesthetic a bit closer than Leader Prime, for better or worse. The smokestack guns are totally pimp. - '74 Bumblebee. Thanks to an eBay seller who is giving me the runaround, I have yet to receive the Concept version, but I came to like the '74 version an awful lot. Seriously, when was the last time we saw a Transformer made of a car that is SUPPOSED to be a piece of crap? I wish we saw that more often, to be honest.
1. MP Megatron 2. Encore Ratchet - Preorder!!! 3. Encore Ironhide - Preorder!!! 4. All of my 6" Tits 5. A live action movie I have wanted for 20+ years
5. Movie Blackout - Has the best Alt mode of all Decepticons and his bot mode is just evil looking! 4. Classics Prime - Prime has dual weapons, how can you beat that! 3. Movie Leader Prime - A fantastic mold that I cant stop changing his poses everytime I see him on the self. 2. 08 Concept BB - Highly detailed in alt and bot mode. I thought this toy was myth till I finally scored one! 1. Classics Jetfie - Great update to one of the best TF ever.
