ROTTEN TOMATOES: Worst of the Worst 2009

I've seen a lot of these and have to admit, they are bad (Babylon AD, Pluto Nash, Son Of The Mask). But there are a lot that I enjoyed too (The New Guy, House Of The Dead, The Covenant, Fear dot Com).

At least they put The Fog on there - I'm one of those "don't mess with the classics with a crappy remake" guys.

I find it ironic that most of these are comedies. They're meant to be bad.

    Movies I enjoyed:
    Babylon A.D.
    Envy
    Kickin it Old School
    Strange Wilderness

Ah, dear old Ballistic. Yes, a very very bad film indeed. Haven't seen any of the others, so I guess I'm pretty good at avoiding shit.

The lack of "From Justin to Kelly" on that list astounds me. I can't believe it got a higher score then the rest of these.

    Not even Battlefield Earth?

I legimately feared for the life of good Space Opera cinema this decade. Its like Serenity and Abrams Trek arrived just in time to stop Travolta, Nemesis and Star Wars from killing it stone dead.

I've seen two of those movies: Master of Disguise and The New Guy. My folks have quite a gift at picking horrible comedies, I'm sure they've seen many, many more.

I figured they'd wait for the decade to be over first.

Huh, I didn't realize some of those movies came out in the 2000s; I thought a few were late-90s. Anyway, the only one on that list I've actually seen is Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie (#68) but then, I did watch the TV show for awhile, so I didn't have trouble following it. Not that it wasn't a terrible film, of course.

I'm dismayed to see Happily N'Ever After (#38) on that list, though, since I'm inevitably going to have to buy (and watch) it at some point if I want to complete my collection of films George Carlin was in.

Nope. I've got a suspicion I'd find it worse than Ballistic. At least that was just a shit action flick, not a shit sci fi film based on Travolta's descent into madness.

I think the Ballistic hate is completely overrated. Yeah, it isn't the best film, but I've worse much worse.

Dude, Rat Race is funny as all shite. I fucking love that movie.

bf Earth came out in the 90's, otherwise it would be on the list for sure. Whoops, it is on the list, I suck!

I've only paid to see one of these 100 movies.

Movies on the list I've actually heard of: 17
    Movies I saw: 5
    Movies I liked: 1

And even that one movie I liked probably belongs on that list.

I was wondering where Rise of Cobra was on that list. Thankfully I can honestly say I have not seen any of those 100 movies.
